As the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc on the world, stars from The Bold and the Beautiful have created an uplifting video to help the show's fans deal with the stresses of staying at home during this scary time.
Several actors from the CBS drama series filmed themselves in their houses, and those clips were put together to create a feel-good message that reassures viewers with the reminder that though these are challenging times, "we're all in this together."
The actors who participated include Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), Don Diamont (Bill Spencer), Heather Tom (Katie Logan), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester), Darin Brooks (Wyatt Fuller), Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan), Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra), Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton), Annika Noelle (Hope Logan), Matthew Atkinson (Thomas Forrester), and John McCook (Eric Forrester).
"I know it's a crazy time right now," says Wood, who is seen juggling a dog and her new baby in the film.
Says Tom: "If you're like me, you're probably at home, glued to the TV."
Or, as Noelle points out, you might be "going a little stir crazy" and "talking to the cat..." or, as Atkinson notes, you're "finally taking down the Christmas decorations. That's right. They're still up."
No matter what you're doing, Hope assures, "It's normal to feel overwhelmed," especially, as Brooks says, "It seems like scary times and it seems like suddenly everything is unpredictable."
But, says Tom, "We're all connected," and, as said by many in the video, "We're all in this together."
B&B's video message comes at a time when the entire nation is feeling the effects of the current COVID-19 crisis, which has infected at least 140,000 people and killed over 2,000 in the U.S. alone. Millions of people have been ordered to stay at home to prevent further spread of the disease, including the stars of the CBS soap opera, which is on hiatus due to the pandemic.
CBS soap fans will be happy to know that The Young and the Restless actors Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers, Y&R; ex-Nina Reeves, General Hospital) also set out to lift fans' spirits with a video of them having a social distancing dance party.
