Congratulations are in order for The Bold and the Beautiful's Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) and her husband, Elan Ruspoli. The actress just announced that she is pregnant with her second baby.
As fans may recall, Wood proved that she is the queen of fun pregnancy reveals when, while carrying her first baby, Rise Harlan Ruspoli, back in 2018, she announced her news during a scene that called for her to walk down the catwalk in sexy lingerie. Everyone was shocked and surprised when she suddenly yelled: "I just wanna let you all know: your girl is pregnant! I am pregnant!"
It's kind of hard to top that exciting reveal, especially when COVID-19 necessitates social distancing. But Wood managed to make her second pregnancy announcement extra special, anyway. She posted a video on Instagram that shows her magically transforming from wearing a blue tracksuit to wearing glittery, thigh-high boots with an open shirt that reveals her growing baby bump.
"Once you pop, the fun don't stop! Round 2 Lego!" the actress captioned the video, along with the reveal that she is currently 23 weeks pregnant.
At this time, it's unclear if B&B will write Wood's real-life pregnancy into Steffy's storyline. Considering the character is currently battling a drug addiction, a pregnancy seems highly unlikely -- though anything can happen! As B&B fans may remember, the show accounted for the actress' first maternity leave by writing a storyline in which Steffy took off to Paris with her daughters, Kelly and Phoebe, to work at Forrester International. It's possible that this time around, Steffy will find herself in rehab while Wood enjoys her maternity leave.
