If you were one of the fans hoping that The Bold and the Beautiful's Carter and Quinn would have a fully happy life together, well, you might have to settle for a quarter of a happy life. Actually, less than that.
In a shocking twist, Quinn up and left Los Angeles with no explanation about why she was leaving. "Carter got hit with a ton of bricks," Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton) told Soap Opera Digest. What's perhaps even more heartbreaking about the split, as Saint-Victor put it, was that this was an all-too-familiar situation for Carter.
"What happens when your pain is more familiar than your joy? He has had these tiny moments of happiness but it always ends up with him being alone," Saint-Victor shared.
As previously reported by Soap Central, actress Rena Sofer (Quinn Fuller) opted to exited B&B last month. "I want to move forward with my life into the scary unknown," Sofer said at the time.
But since B&B is a soap, it won't be too long before Carter has a potential new love interest in his orbit. How soon? How about this week?
Fresh from rebuffing Bill's latest attempt to repair their tattered relationship, Katie admits that she is attracted to Carter. Where Katie has, in the past, told Carter that he deserved better than Quinn, this time around, it's Carter telling Katie that she is better off without Bill.
"You have these two people who have been loving the wrong people, who have been hurt, and are in each other's sphere," Saint-Victor teased.
How will Bill feel about Katie potentially moving on to Carter? Will Bill even notice now that Brooke's relationship with Ridge is over? November Sweeps is just around the corner, and it looks like B&B is setting up a whole lotta love and a whole lot of potential drama.
