JANUARY 2002

Brooke continued her sessions with Dr. Isabel and told Rick that she did not have the strength to fight Ridge's decisions. Deacon and Bridget made love, and he secretly visited Brooke. Taylor was appointed to the board at Forrester Creations, and Ridge humiliated Rick at the meeting. Massimo asked his old friend Yves to keep him informed of the activities at Forrester. Zende was happily overwhelmed by his new home and family.
January 14 to 18, 2002
Deacon proposed to Brooke after learning about her pregnancy. After Brooke and Deacon admitted their love for each other, Brooke informed Deacon that she would not allow him to divorce Bridget and that their child could never know his father. Amber grew suspicious about Deacon when Alex told her that he was not on a business trip and that he had missed two days of work when Bridget was at Big Bear. Stephanie tried to convince Rick, Amber, and Bridget to cooperate with Ridge. Zende met Ridge, Taylor, and the kids.
January 21 to 25, 2002
Deacon confronted Megan about Brooke's pregnancy and tried to reconnect with Bridget. Massimo tutored Rick for the next board meeting. Convinced that Rick had been coached for the meeting, Ridge was angered when Rick made useful suggestions. Massimo admitted that he wanted Ridge to be forced to accept his help.
January 28 to February 1, 2002
Sally tried to seduce Massimo. Stephanie and Massimo shared a passionate kiss. Amber told Deacon that she knew he had lied to Bridget about going to Las Vegas. After seeing Ridge copy a document that would make him permanent CEO of Forrester Creations, Deacon offered to help Rick and drove Brooke back to Los Angeles. Connor told Brooke to give a Forrester employee an assignment. Rick and Amber arrived at the meeting after the vote to take control out of the hands of the majority stockholder passed.

FEBRUARY 2002
February 4 to 8, 2002
An angry Brooke proved that she wasn't incapacitated, fired Ridge as CEO, and demoted him back to head designer. Brooke hired Rick as the new vice president and Deacon as the head of promotions. Ridge refused to cooperate with Rick for the benefit of the company and demanded to know who had coached him. Massimo was pleased at the prospect of getting closer to Ridge. Brooke began accepting orders for the bedroom line again. Amber guessed that Brooke was pregnant.

Stephanie admitted her feelings for Massimo to Eric and was angry to learn that Eric planned to support Rick at Forrester. Thorne and Kristen refused to help Ridge fight for the company. Ridge finally gave Massimo the opportunity to give him some advice, which unnerved Stephanie. Because they had been close for years, Whip questioned Brooke about her motives in hiring Deacon, and Whip vowed to cause trouble. Stephanie correctly guessed that Brooke was pregnant and shared the news with Ridge and Thorne.
February 18 to 22, 2002
Stephanie revealed Brooke's pregnancy to everyone at the press conference. Whip unexpectedly announced that he was the father, became suspicious about Deacon's motives, and demanded better treatment from Brooke for rescuing her. Eric, Thorne, and Kristen refused to join Ridge in fighting for control of Forrester. Disgusted by Eric's refusal to help, Stephanie and Ridge turned to Massimo for emotional support. Massimo offered Ridge a position at his company.
February 25 to March 1, 2002
Megan and Deacon researched Whip's past. Whip confided his plans with his mother and realized that Deacon was the father of Brooke's baby. Ridge became furious when Amber's designs were put into production, resigned from Forrester without objection, and got into a fight with Rick and Deacon that resulted in a severe injury to his left hand. Stephanie was livid that Eric supported Amber's contributions to Forrester Creations, unaware that Eric had agreed only because he was sure her designs would fail.
MARCH 2002
March 4 to 8, 2002
Ridge and Stephanie told Eric they no longer wanted to be with him and left the hospital with Massimo. Whip tried to sell Brooke and Deacon on the merits of being nicer to him and revealed his desire for a new car, house, and substantial raise. Bridget witnessed an embrace between her mother and Deacon and later shared her bedroom woes with her mother and Amber. Amber's first designs showed signs of success.
March 11 to 15, 2002
Bridget was amused and Deacon enraged during their dinner with Brooke and Whip. Later, Brooke warmed to Whip and implored Deacon to make Bridget his number one priority. Distraught by Brooke's request, Deacon made passionate love to Bridget. Stephanie moved in with Ridge and Taylor. Massimo enjoyed being in the company of his secret family.
March 18 to 22, 2002
In exchange for her silence about Ridge's paternity, Sally ordered Stephanie to become her housekeeper. Ridge said goodbye to the Forrester employees and was devastated to learn that he couldn't use a pen or bend his fingers. Whip fantasized about Brooke. Amber was delighted when Bob Barker agreed to feature her new designs on The Price Is Right models.
March 25 to 29, 2002
Brooke declined Whip's invitation to join her for her first ultrasound and was pleasantly surprised when Deacon arrived for her appointment. Ridge became discouraged at the doctor's suggestion that he begin using his right hand. Brooke comforted Ridge, who later declined her offer to return to Forrester Creations. Eric confronted Massimo after Rick admitted to him that Massimo was the person who had coached him. Bridget became the new lead model for the Ambrosia line. Sally discussed her despair over the loss of Macy with Stephanie.

Eric and Ridge blamed Massimo for ruining Ridge's career. Stephanie and Sally commiserated about the turmoil Brooke had inflicted upon their lives. Brooke hastily left for Paris with Whip after making love with Deacon again. Eric approved a new clothing line for Amber. Amber later experienced severe abdominal pains while having dinner with Rick at Café Russe.

Taylor vowed to put an end to Massimo's fixation with Ridge. Massimo warned Stephanie that if he couldn't have her, he'd have Ridge. Eric was crushed when Stephanie passed over on their anniversary in order to spend time with Massimo. Ridge accepted an offer at Marone Industries and an offer to be Massimo's sole heir. Brooke called Deacon one final time to tell him that she loved him. After her fashion show, Amber collapsed.
April 15 to 19, 2002
Amber lost her baby during emergency surgery, and the family gathered at the hospital to share their grief. Stephanie tried to convince Amber that she was not at fault. Rick and Amber were not receptive to Ridge or Taylor's sympathetic words. A fan from Connecticut traveled to Los Angeles to comfort Amber. Whip offered an engagement ring to Brooke.
April 22 to 26, 2002
Brooke declined Whip's marriage proposal. Erica tried to comfort Amber and found an apartment near the local school. Rick and Amber mourned the death of their children. Ridge signed a contract with Marone Industries. Sally was furious when Clarke tricked her into signing Spectra over to Ridge but became intrigued when Ridge explained his plans for Brooke. Eric pleaded with Rick, Kristen, and Thorne to make peace with Ridge.
April 29 to May 3, 2002
Erica befriended Zende. Amber's debut collection was the most successful in the history of Forrester Creations, but she continued to rely on pain pills. Sally agreed to sell Spectra to Marone Industries. Ridge told Stephanie about his plan. After Whip taunted him, Deacon flew to Paris, knocked Whip unconscious, and had sex with Brooke again. While Brooke was out of the room, Whip hit an unsuspecting Deacon over the head with a heavy object.

Whip put an unconscious Deacon back on the plane for Los Angeles. Brooke agreed to marry Whip, and they returned to Los Angeles. After vowing to learn the truth about Brooke's decision to marry Whip, Stephanie walked in on Brooke and Deacon kissing. Ziggy provided drugs for Amber after the pharmacist refused a refill.
May 13 to 17, 2002
Brooke slapped Stephanie, and Stephanie later attacked Deacon and demanded that he quit his job, divorce Bridget, and leave town. Deacon pleaded with Brooke to tell Bridget the truth. Erica accompanied Zende to the party and later worried that her mother was on her way to Los Angeles to retrieve her. Amber remained heavily medicated, but no one seemed concerned. Deacon made his way to an indecisive Brooke moments before the wedding.
May 20 to 24, 2002
Deacon was devastated that Brooke and Whip were actually married. Taylor and Ridge noticed Amber's condition. Bridget began to ask questions when Deacon left her stranded at the wedding. Brooke refused to have sex with Whip on their wedding night. Ridge's plans for Spectra began to pull together. Eric begged Stephanie to return home with him. Erica was hired as little Eric's babysitter and was shocked when her mother forcibly entered her apartment -- Sheila Carter Warwick.

Brooke lied to Deacon about her sex life and feelings for Whip. Amber accused Erica of neglecting little Eric and fired her, but Rick later apologized and assured her that she still had the job. Rick confronted Amber about her drug use, and she confirmed his suspicions. After Sheila attacked him, Ziggy told her that he had information about the Forresters. Sheila tried to convince Erica to abandon her dreams of a future with Rick but later realized that she would have a connection to the Forresters if Erica and Rick became romantically involved -- the only barrier being Amber.

Sally threatened Brooke at Café Russe. Whip again tried to seduce Brooke. Sheila witnessed Amber buying drugs from Ziggy and tried to convince Erica that it was the perfect time for her to pursue Rick. After skipping work to drink and take pills, Amber lost control and turned to Taylor -- and later, Rick -- for help. All the Forresters gathered at Brooke's house to offer support for Amber's decision to enter rehab. As Amber reminisced about her grievances with Brooke, Sheila listened to the family intervention from the terrace.
June 10 to 14, 2002
Amber entered a drug rehabilitation program. Sheila arranged a makeover for Erica and coached her into making her feelings for Rick known. Ziggy discovered Sheila and Erica's true identities, but Sheila scared him into silence. While trying to gather information for Forrester, Kristen discovered the truth about Ridge and Spectra but agreed to remain silent. During a baby shower, Stephanie warned Brooke of the consequences if Bridget ever discovered the truth about Brooke and Deacon. Later, Bridget overheard Deacon on the baby monitor, professing his love to Brooke.
June 17 to 21, 2002
Taylor and Ridge christened his new office at Marone Industries. Kristen defended Ridge to Eric and insisted that the family's problems were Brooke's fault. A devastated Bridget fled to the guesthouse, ordered Eric to leave her alone, and demanded that he not call Brooke. Per Eric's request, Stephanie tried to console Bridget and vowed that she would be the mother figure in Bridget's life from that point on. After Eric spoke with them, Brooke, Whip, and Deacon put two and two together and correctly assumed that Bridget knew the truth. Stephanie "attacked" Brooke.

Kristen admitted to Taylor that she knew the truth about Ridge but vowed to give Spectra a run for their money. After emerging from her daydream, Stephanie devised a story that sent Brooke to Big Bear in search of Bridget. Bridget convinced Stephanie to drive her to Big Bear where she confronted Brooke, who later went into labor. Erica was elated when Rick allowed her to wear one of Amber's Forrester Original gowns.

After helping Stephanie deliver Brooke's baby girl and informing Brooke that she was no longer Brooke's daughter, Bridget gave Deacon the news that he was a father, threw him out, and told Eric about the end of her marriage and her decision to return to college. Stephanie promised to help Brooke with her new daughter. C.J. returned, furious to learn that Ridge and Marone Industries controlled Spectra. Along with other major department stores, Lauren also decided to carry the Spectra line instead of Forrester. Amber returned home from rehab. Upon learning that there were no orders for the Ambrosia line, Rick, Thorne, and Amber confronted Sally and were shocked to learn that Ridge was in control of Spectra.

After being reminded that the baby's paternity needed to remain a secret, Deacon vowed that he and Brooke would reunite in the future, when the threat of scandal was over. C.J. taunted Bridget during her first day of work at Insomnia and vowed that he would never work for Spectra as long as Ridge was in charge. Eric was devastated to learn about Ridge's actions but refused to allow Forrester's new line to be sold on a home shopping television network. Ridge confided his plans for Eric to Stephanie and refused Brooke's pleas. Amber apologized to Erica. Sheila tried to convince Erica to continue to pursue Rick.
July 15 to 19, 2002
Whip was disappointed when Brooke told him that she planned to end their marriage. After hearing Ridge berate Amber and Rick, Eric agreed to offer Amber's collection on TeleSave. Eric turned down Ridge's offer to join him at Spectra. Amber's collection sold out, marking the single most profitable day in the history of Forrester Creations. Spectra's showing was also successful, but Ridge sulked because of Forrester's success. Bridget made plans to move into the apartment above Insomnia. Sheila devised a plan for Ziggy's friend, Lance.
July 22 to 26, 2002
At the Forrester pool party, per Sheila's instructions, Lance successfully drugged Amber and took her home with him for the night. Rick was flabbergasted when Amber returned home the next morning, unable to remember what had happened, but relaying to him the story Lance had told her. Sheila was pleased when Erica relayed Amber's most recent blunder to her. Bridget comforted C.J. when she realized how much Becky and Macy's deaths had affected him and was later stunned when she met face-to-face with Brooke at Insomnia.
July 29 to August 2, 2002
Bridget told Brooke that it was too soon for them to talk. C.J. tried to get Bridget to tell him the whole story surrounding Deacon's affair. Brooke and Thorne had a dinner date. Amber went to Taylor for help. Taylor defended Amber to Stephanie. Amber pleaded with Lance to tell her the truth. Rick remained distraught and skeptical. Erica continued to cast Amber in a bad light. Lance blackmailed Sheila for enough money to relocate to New York -- in exchange for his silence -- and Sheila devised a plan of her own.

The night before Lance was to tell Amber the truth, Sheila filled his room will bees and -- because of an allergy to bees -- he died. Devastated, Amber delivered the news to Rick, who became furious at her continued inability to explain her night with Lance. Ziggy suspected that Sheila was responsible for Lance's death, but she denied it. Massimo became livid when Stephanie turned down his cruise to continue to help Brooke with the baby. Stephanie made plans to move into the second guesthouse at the Forrester estate. A reluctant C.J. lightened up when he discovered that Bridget had arranged his surprise birthday party.
August 12 to 16, 2002
Massimo became intrigued by a woman at Las Olas and shared a bottle of wine with her -- unaware that it was Sheila. Amber and Taylor surmised that Lance had drugged her. Missing a meeting at Forrester, Amber was tested for drugs, but the results were inconclusive because several days had passed. Certain that Erica had masterminded the whole thing, Amber related her theory to Rick. Erica denied any involvement when Rick discussed Amber's theory with her. Taylor went to Lance's apartment and questioned Ziggy. Sheila returned to Lance's apartment to retrieve the cash and wipe away the fingerprints as Taylor looked on from the doorway, asking, "Who are you?" Stephanie suggested that Bridget not rush into anything with C.J.
August 19 to 23, 2002
Ziggy intervened and asked Taylor to leave Lance's apartment before she discovered Sheila's identity. Sheila and Massimo met again at Las Olas. Erica confronted Amber and injured her head after Amber tried to break loose from her grasp. At the hospital, wearing a surgical mask, Sheila overheard Amber discussing her theory with Taylor and later warned Amber to leave Erica alone. Furious with Amber, Rick insisted that Erica recuperate at Brooke's house. Bridget was disappointed when C.J. set her up on a blind date. After James made a phone call, Taylor, Stephanie, and Amber speculated about Mary's life.
August 26 to 30, 2002
C.J. remained clueless as to why Bridget was bummed about the blind date. Ridge returned from his trip and listened patiently as Massimo vented about Stephanie. Ridge was disgusted and angry when he learned that Amber had been staying at his house in his absence. After giving Brooke an annulment and informing her that he was transferring to the Paris division, Whip implored Bridget to talk to her mother. While talking with Brooke, Bridget became furious when Deacon appeared at Brooke's door. Eric invited Erica and her mother to dinner. Sheila was thrilled about the invitation until Ziggy reminded her about the impossibility of the situation.

Deacon told Brooke and Bridget that he was leaving town and implored Bridget to forgive Brooke. Amber moved into Taylor's beach house and made plans to search Erica's apartment after Taylor told her about the dinner party. Erica was devastated -- and Taylor was suspicious -- when her mother did not show up at the Forresters' for dinner. While Amber was looking through the window of Erica's apartment, from behind, Sheila shattered the glass with a rock. Amber was arrested and taken to jail. Erica and Rick were stunned to learn that Erica's mom had left town to be with a man and that Amber was in police custody for the broken window. Sheila told Massimo that she was leaving town to protect her daughter.
September 9 to 13, 2002
Ridge was annoyed when Taylor rushed off to the jail to help Amber. Amber told Taylor that it was no coincidence that Erica and Lance lived in the same apartment complex. Rick comforted Erica and kissed her. Sheila and Massimo shared an intimate night at his apartment. Rick visited Amber in jail but left abruptly when she told him that Erica was somehow involved. Erica was stunned to discover that her mother had once been married to Eric Forrester and had set Amber up. During lunch with Brooke and Stephanie, Bridget suggested that Brooke name the baby "Hope." Certain that Bridget would leave Insomnia because she was mending fences with her mom, C.J. blasted Bridget, which led to a passionate kiss.
September 16 to 20, 2002
Taylor bailed Amber out of jail, and the judge ordered that she be placed under house arrest at Taylor and Ridge's house. Amber speculated about Erica's mother's possible involvement. Ridge and Amber clashed at every turn. An angry Ridge left to visit Eric but spent some time with Brooke instead. Brooke was supportive but advised Ridge to go home to Taylor. Rick told Erica about Mary and James Warwick. Erica blasted Sheila for everything she had done, and Sheila tried to convince her to become pregnant by Rick. Bridget and C.J. discussed their feelings for each other and kissed again.
September 23 to 27, 2002
Sheila convinced Erica that she needed to make herself invaluable to Rick and the Forresters. Erica's demo tape was approved as the new voice of the Ambrosia radio campaign, much to Amber's dismay. Erica unsuccessfully tried to seduce Rick. Stephanie arranged for Brooke and Eric to attend the ceremony for Bridget's acceptance into medical school. Brooke became optimistic when Eric pledged to help reunite their family, beginning with a family dinner, returned to reality when Bridget reminded her about Deacon. Stephanie discovered an earring at Massimo's apartment as Sheila knocked on his door.
September 30 to October 4, 2002
Sheila hid behind a plant when Stephanie answered Massimo's door, became irritated to learn that Stephanie was involved with Massimo, and later told Massimo to forget about her when he realized that she knew Stephanie. Filled with pride about their children, Eric kissed Brooke. Although they both thought a lot about the kiss, Eric took Brooke's advice when she encouraged him to pursue Stephanie more aggressively. Bridget was very impressed with her new mentor, Dr. Mark Maclaine. With the kids spending the night with Eric and Stephanie, and Taylor and Ridge out on the town, Amber was shocked to find Sheila at the door, and even more so when Sheila revealed that Erica was her daughter.
OCTOBER 2002
October 7 to 11, 2002
Sheila kidnapped Amber and planted her tracking device in an alley, along with tequila and drugs. At Erica's apartment, Sheila tormented Amber at gunpoint with Erica's plans for Rick. Erica offered to give Rick his own child and began to seduce him. Ridge and Taylor were shocked to find Amber missing and the police searching for her. When Sheila phoned Massimo to ask him to take her out of the country, Stephanie recognized her voice and put two and two together. After getting the address of Erica's apartment from Taylor, Stephanie and Massimo set out to rescue Amber from Sheila. C.J. questioned Bridget about her mentor.
October 14 to 18, 2002
Massimo broke through the door of Erica's apartment and rescued Amber, but Sheila escaped as the police arrived and left to plead Erica's case to Eric. Brooke told Eric that she had thought about reconciling with him but thought he and Stephanie should be together. Rick insisted that Erica stop as Ridge arrived to tell him about Amber and reveal Erica's true identity. Rick blasted Erica and was relieved when Amber returned home. Eric was stunned to see Sheila and realize that Erica was really Mary Warwick. Thinking Sheila would go see Eric, Taylor went to the Forrester house and was shot while trying to prevent Sheila from shooting Brooke. Later, Brooke was shot when she tried to prevent Sheila from shooting Eric. Ridge and Stephanie were shocked when they discovered that Taylor and Brooke had been shot while struggling with Sheila for her gun. Later, Erica visited Sheila in jail, and they blasted each other about their state of affairs.
October 21 to 25, 2002
C.J. continued to be agitated about Bridget and Mark's relationship. Massimo expressed his frustration to Sally about not being able to comfort Ridge. Amber told an unconscious Taylor that Erica was being released into James's custody. Taylor survived emergency heart surgery but was saddened to learn of the extent of her injuries as well as the prognosis if her heart rate did not remain below 90. Preparing for the worst, Taylor offered loving words of encouragement to Bridget, Brooke, Stephanie, and her children as her heart rate continued to rise. After her doctors told her there was nothing more that could be done, Taylor said a tearful goodbye to Ridge and died quietly in his arms.
October 28 to November 1, 2002
Grief counselor Tricia Quick arrived, per Taylor's request, to help Ridge cope with Taylor's death. Massimo refused to help Sheila, and later Ridge tried to strangle her. Thomas became very angry when he learned of his mother's passing. As everyone grieved at the funeral, Jack became angry when he saw Brooke walking toward Taylor's coffin, and he confronted her as Thomas looked on. Mark reminisced about his mother, Margo, and introduced himself to his father, Clarke.

Brooke left the funeral early after she was unable to convince Jack that she and Taylor had made peace. Ridge and the children continued to grieve Taylor's passing. Tricia continued to offer advice to the family. During a visit at the jail, Sheila told Stephanie that she was going after Stephanie when she got out of prison. Stephanie and Massimo were upset to learn that Brooke had reached out to Ridge and successfully pitched the idea of him returning to Forrester to the rest of the family. Stephanie ordered Brooke to stay away from Ridge and was later stunned to find them embracing at his house. Clarke was thrilled to be reunited with Mark and confided in Sally his dreams of his sons being close. After Mark and Bridget had a date, C.J. became jealous and hit him.
November 11 to 15, 2002
Mark and C.J. were surprised to learn that they were half-brothers. Sally told Clarke her doubts about a relationship between the two of them. Amused by the competition for her affection, Bridget advised Mark and C.J. to focus on their relationship with each other. Despite Ridge's assurances, Stephanie insisted that Brooke keep her distance from Ridge. Thomas lashed out at Brooke. Bridget helped Ridge with the kids and was disappointed about Stephanie's attitude toward Brooke. Ridge became curious about the problems between Bridget and Brooke. Tricia advised Brooke to stay away from Ridge. Thorne told Tricia that Ridge and Brooke would eventually reconcile.
November 18 to 22, 2002
Mark arranged a massage and a new mentor for Bridget. C.J. arranged an ice cream sundae activity for Bridget and the twins. Eric tricked Ridge into a fashion competition in Portofino, Italy, which inspired Ridge to begin designing again. Massimo tried to convince Stephanie to tell Ridge the truth about Brooke and Deacon, but Stephanie refused because of Bridget. After having a drink at Las Olas with Megan, Brooke was stunned to meet face-to-face with a drunk and vengeful Deacon. Ridge imagined that Taylor was actually doing the talking during a discussion with Tricia. When Brooke arrived with a surprise lunch for Ridge, Tricia said Brooke should stay away from him, which resulted in Brooke pouring marinara sauce down Tricia's blouse.
November 25 to 29, 2002
Thorne and Bridget speculated about the dynamics of Brooke and Tricia's relationship, and Brooke and Ridge's relationship. Ridge tried to appease both women but continued to "see" Taylor during conversations with Tricia. Tricia moved into Thorne's guesthouse, and they shared a kiss. Mark and C.J. observed Clarke and Sally enjoying an evening together at the coffeehouse. Upon hearing about Taylor's death and assuming that Brooke was pursuing Ridge, Deacon speculated about how Ridge's reaction to their affair would affect Brooke.

December 2 to 6, 2002
Though Deacon continued to taunt Brooke about Ridge and Hope, they reached an understanding: Brooke agreed to help him find another job, and finance him in the meantime. C.J. and Mark missed the opportunity to say goodbye to Bridget because they were arguing about her. As the Forresters jetted to Portofino in style, Sally, Clarke, and Darla were shocked to discover that the jet Darla had chartered for them was an old cargo jet. Ridge became curious about Stephanie's lack of trust in Brooke. A mysterious stranger in Portofino tried to hide the news of the Forresters' arrival and later embraced his nightclub singer, a brunette with Macy's voice, known as "Lena."
December 9 to 13, 2002
The Forrester family and Spectra Fashions arrived in Italy and announced Eric and Ridge's fashion competition at a press conference. Macy and Lorenzo discussed how Adam had rescued her from an abandoned cabin after the explosion threw her from the wreckage of the car. Sally and Thorne were tortured by past memories of Macy in Italy. Eric wooed Stephanie. Massimo became incensed by Ridge and Brooke's growing closeness, and he confronted Brooke about Deacon. Overhearing Brooke ordering Massimo to leave, Ridge rescued her and later kissed her. Lorenzo worried about Macy's feelings for Thorne and objected to reuniting her with Sally, but Adam took her to Sally's hotel room anyway.
December 16 to 20, 2002
Sally's hurt and anger turned to joy after Adam reunited her and Darla with Macy. Lorenzo worried about Macy's safety and whisked Thorne out of the café moments before Macy was to sing, but later admitted to her that Thorne had been there. Macy followed Thorne, and they shared a tearful reunion when she revealed herself to him. Brooke objected to Ridge's advances, but he convinced her to relax and enjoy their time together in Italy. Enraged by Bridget's defense of Brooke, Massimo let it slip that Ridge was his son. Deacon arrived in Portofino and made arrangements for an evening with Brooke.
December 23 to 27, 2002
Thorne implored Macy and Sally to give him another chance. Sally suggested that Macy and Lorenzo move to Los Angeles. Bridget began to feel uncomfortable around Ridge. Brooke became terrified when Deacon emerged from the balcony with Hope and insisted that he didn't want Ridge involved in raising Hope. Later, Eric noticed Brooke's state of mind and was disgusted when she admitted the truth to him about her affair with Deacon. After learning that Stephanie had taken Bridget to Massimo for comfort, Eric vowed that he would not turn his back on Brooke and that he would protect the family and Bridget from Deacon.
December 30, 2002 to January 3, 2003
Eric convinced Deacon to give Brooke some space and leave Italy. Ridge punched Deacon when Deacon insisted on having a moment alone with Brooke. Thomas was touched to learn that Brooke had dedicated the Portofino Challenge to Taylor. Lorenzo convinced Adam that they had to move. Adam and Lorenzo searched for Macy, who was secretly meeting Thorne. Bridget confronted Stephanie about Ridge and Massimo. Eric and Ridge continued their competitive banter as the fashion show got underway.
