Days of our Lives' Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane) was unharmed following a bizarre mishap Wednesday evening on a Los Angeles freeway. According to the actress' posts on Twitter, she was driving along the 405 Freeway when two of her car's tires suddenly went flat.
"Seriously?! Two of my wheels were just destroyed on the 405 Southbound before the 101. Something in the road... about 10 more cars just hit the same thing! Party on the freeway...not the best way to end a long day!"
While Bjorlin was injured, the actress did report that paramedics were called to the scene.
"[U]nfortunately there is an ambulance here for somebody, just not me," Bjorlin added in a subsequent message. "AAA is trying to figure out how to tow everyone."
Bjorlin's boyfriend, Brandon Beemer (Owen Knight, The Bold and the Beautiful; Shawn Douglas Brady, DAYS) came to her rescue.
There's still no word on exactly what caused the accident, but Bjorlin noted that the police informed her that "the city [of Los Angeles] doesn't care and isn't responsible!"
Earlier this year, Days of our Lives announced that Bjorlin would be exiting the show. Bjorlin originally joined the cast of Days of our Lives in 1999 and remained a popular, contract player through June 2003. The actress then returned for a handful of episodes over the next year and a half before returning on a regular, recurring basis in December 2004. She then exited the show in September 2005. In 2007, Bjorlin returned to DAYS with a long-term contract and a promise that her character would have a new edge.
Bjorlin is already at work on another film project, though details have not yet been released.
