Time to roll out the welcome mat for Days of our Lives' newest addition: Kyler Pettis in the role of Abe and Lexie's autistic son, Theo.
As previously reported, the NBC soap has given the character Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome (SORAS), and he will now be a teenager. As such, Daytime Royalty reports that Ray Donovan star Pettis has landed the role.
As fans already know, Theo (previously played by Terrell Ranson Jr.) has autism, but the casting call released earlier this year revealed that the character is now a high-functioning autistic young man -- which means greater storyline potential for the character.
Pettis hails from California, and in addition to acting, he's been a successful model.
