Heads up, Days of our Lives fans. The NBC soap is getting a new time slot in the New York City area.
Beginning Monday, January 16, the happenings in Salem will take place at 12:00PM -- one hour earlier than the show is currently airing.
The NYC area time slot switch isn't the only shake-up DAYS is facing. There's a rumor circling that CBS is interested in purchasing Sony Pictures Television, which could mean CBS might soon own the soap.
Meanwhile, NBC has just struck a deal with FOX News personality Meghan Kelly in which she'll be given a Monday through Friday talk show on the network. A time slot for Kelly's show has yet to be announced, but some soap fans fear the new show might take the place of DAYS, whose future is unknown. As fans may recall, the soap received a one-season renewal from NBC in February of 2016. Whether the soap continues to air beyond this season is yet to be announced.
