Recurring Days of our Lives star Meredith Scott Lynn (Anne Milbauer) has been tapped for a seriously sweet gig.
Lifetime has cast the New York native as famed defense attorney Leslie Abramson in its upcoming original film about the Menendez brothers' double-murder case, Deadline reports.
The movie, based on the 1989 true-life crime, "explores the inner lives and motivation behind the murders of entertainment executive Jose Menendez (Benito Martinez) and his wife Kitty (Courtney Love) at the hands of their sons Lyle and Erik in 1989. After a mistrial and deadlocked juries (there was one trial but two separate juries, one for each brother), the brothers were later re-tried and convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to life without parole."
The film's title and release date have to be announced, but Lynn will likely play quite a large role; her character, Abramson, represented Erik Menendez in both real-life trials.
