Today is a big day for Days of our Lives' executive producer Ken Corday. The soap opera legend will be joining other major icons when he receives a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, May 15.
The Hollywood-based ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11:30AM PST and will be live-streamed for fans to see via the Walk of Fame's official website at www.walkoffame.com.
"Ken Corday has dedicated his life to entertaining television fans with NBC's longest-running drama series, Days of our Lives. We will be placing the star for Ken next to the star of actress Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans), keeping Days of our Lives forever cemented in the stars," says Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez.
The exciting ceremony, emceed by Hollywood Chamber President/CEO Leron Gubler and taking place at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard in front of Eastown, will also feature actor and fellow Walk of Famer Andy Garcia.
But that's not the only exciting thing happening today for Corday. The screen adaptation of his sultry novel, Ladies of the Lake -- which stars daytime actors like Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker, DAYS), Jessica Morris (ex-Jennifer Rappaport, One Life to Live), Martha Madison (ex-Belle Black, DAYS), Marie Wilson (ex-Meg Snyder, As the World Turns), and more -- debuts today on Amazon.
