If you miss seeing Kate Mansi (ex-Abigail Deveraux) on Days of our Lives, we've got some good news for you. The newly crowned Emmy winner has a new film coming out later this year, and we've got your first look at the trailer.
Mansi headlines an all-star cast in Mother of All Secrets, a thriller about a young couple who head to Bermuda on their "babymoon." If you're not sure exactly what a babymoon is, it's the last vacation before the birth of a couple's child. As you might expect from any good thriller, their vacation doesn't quite go as they planned. Things take a dark turn when the expectant father goes missing. His pregnant girlfriend, Aubrey, searches for answers, and what she learns is his estranged mother is on the island and knows more about the disappearance than she is letting on.
The film also features Top Gun actress Kelly McGillis, Real Housewives of New York reality star LuAnn D'Agostino, Brooke Burfitt of By Any Means, and Sean Stolzen.
Filming of Mother of All Secrets took place in February 2017 -- and Mansi reveals that the only thing she knew about Bermuda prior to filming was that it was a lyric in the Beach Boys' Billboard-topping hit single "Kokomo."
An exact release date has not yet been announced, but you can check out the movie's Facebook page and official website. And, of course, Soap Central will also have additional details as they're made available. In the meantime, check out the trailer below then tell us what you think!
