A new year represents new beginnings, and that is exactly what's in store for Days of our Lives' Freddie Smith (ex-Sonny Kiriakis) and Alyssa Tabit, who welcomed 2021 by getting married!
Smith and Tabit tied the knot in a stunning ceremony that took place at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Luckily for fans, the happy couple shared a thirteen-minute video of their beautiful nuptials, including moments leading up to the ceremony, their vows, the cake cutting, their wedding toasts, messages from family members, and more.
Tabit also shared several wedding photos on Instagram with a post that reads, "Happy New Year! Mr. & Mrs. Smith"
Many of Smith's former DAYS costars were quick to share congratulatory messages with the newlyweds. Wally Kurth (Justin Kiriakis) shared, "Sending my deepest heartfelt congrats to you both!" Martha Madison (Belle Black) wrote, "So happy for you both!" Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) said, "Congrats to you both!" And Molly Burnett (ex-Melanie Jones) shared, "And it was gorgeous and you were stunning and Freddie was so handsome and I cried the whole time! Love you both so much."
Smith and Tabit met at a Dirty Disney-themed party in February of 2010 but didn't start dating until the summer of 2011. They got engaged in 2018, when Smith surprised Tabit with a proposal during a photoshoot.
