If you're a fan of feel-good flicks, then get ready to swoon, because GAC Media plans to produce four new original films starring fan-favorite Days of our Lives alum Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa Donovan).
Deadline reports that the actress, who has become a major staple on the Hallmark Channel in recent years, has signed a multi-picture overall deal with the relatively new media company, whose flagship brands include GAC Family and GAC Living. The deal includes Lilley's participation in four original movies over the next two years, though the specifics of the projects have yet to be revealed.
"Aside from being an immensely talented and hardworking actor, Jen is a generous and kindhearted person who is a perfect fit for GAC," said Bill Abbott, President and CEO of GAC Media (and former CEO of Crown Media Family Networks, parent of Hallmark Channel). "Many of us on the GAC team have known Jen for years, and we are excited to welcome her to the family as we work together to bring even more entertaining movies to our fans."
Lilley recently starred in GAC Family's Royally Wrapped for Christmas, which was part of GAC's first-ever Great American Christmas franchise. She has several Hallmark holiday movies on her list of credits, as well as a five-year stint as DAYS' Theresa and a brief run as a fill-in for Kirsten Storms in the role of General Hospital's Maxie Jones.
The actress took to Instagram to share her enthusiasm about her partnership with GAC Media, writing, "I'm so thankful for every opportunity I've had so far as an actress. I truly believe I have the kindest fans, many of you have become my friends, and I'm so excited to share this next chapter and what @gactv is building with you... #2022, let's go!"
In joining GAC Media, Lilley follows fellow Hallmark Channel veterans Danica McKellar and Trevor Donovan (ex-Jeremy Horton, DAYS), who have also signed multi-picture deals with the company.
