AnnaLynne McCord has been tapped to play a new Days of our Lives character, but viewers are going to have wait quite awhile to see her on-screen.
According to Deadline, McCord will play a character named Marin. Marin is described as a "fascinating and complicated woman who is devastatingly beautiful, almost angelic in her outward appearance." Marin is also in love with a special guy, but it seems that that guy might not feel the same way. The character description says that the object of Marin's affections "continues to push her away for her own good."
In case you are wondering: No, the character does not yet have a last name -- so let the guessing games begin!
This will be McCord's first daytime soap role, but she does have some soapy experience. From 2008 to 2013, McCord played the role of Naomi Clark on the CW's 90210. Some of her other credits include Let's Get Physical, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, The Night Shift, and Secrets and Lies.
While little is known about the character McCord will be playing, there are some details that are known. McCord signed a one-year contract with DAYS. As for when she'll pop up, viewers will reportedly have to patiently wait until the second half of 2024.
