Father Matt is one of the priests serving at St. Luke's in Salem. He provides council from time to time to the citizens of Salem, including Chloe Lane, Nicole Walker, and Stephanie Johnson.
He also served as mentor for and heard confession from Eric Brady. His last appearance in Salem was when he performed Arianna's baptism in January 2014. Other priests and parishioners would mention Father Matt from time to time.
