Conspired with Eve to break up Paige and J.J. (Summer 2014)
Paige and Marybeth were best friends in high school. But their friendship started to deteriorate when Paige started dating J.J. Deveraux. Marybeth didn't think J.J. was good enough for Paige and frequently told him so. Paige often had to tell Marybeth to back off.
But Marybeth wasn't the only one who didn't like Paige and J.J. Paige's mom Eve was also not a fan. So, Eve recruited Marybeth to help break them up. One night at a party, Marybeth faked an injury so that Paige would have to leave the party and take Marybeth to the hospital. While they were gone, a girl Eve hired was to get incriminating pictures with J.J. to make it look like J.J. had cheated on Paige.
But, the plan didn't work. Paige believed J.J. when he said he'd been drugged and the pictures were staged. Frustrated that J.J. was still around, Marybeth stopped hanging out with Paige.
