What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation has turned into a bit of an event for General Hospital's Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall), who recently hurt her leg while vacationing in Hawaii.
The actress took to Instagram to share a picture of her gnarly gashes, which she sustained while trying to surf the waves. "I failed," she captioned the picture, which will probably make her fans wince in sympathy pain.
A flood of supportive messages followed Monaco's post. Even though she's down, she may not be out of the surfing game altogether. Looks like fans will just have to wait and see! At this time, there's no word on whether or not her wounded leg will affect her work at GH.
Monaco isn't the only ABC Daytime actor to recently be injured during a vacation. Her costar Ryan Paevey (Nathan West) took a spill on his motorcycle over the Fourth of July weekend.
