Whenever a soap opera star has a guest-starring role on NCIS: Los Angeles (or any of the other NCIS series, for that matter), there's a good chance he or she will end up in a body bag on-screen. And while it's unclear at this time if the same fate will come to General Hospital star Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins) when he appears on the popular primetime series next month, fans will for sure die when they catch a peek of his backstage shenanigans.
The beloved actor took to Instagram to share a few moments of his new gig, starting with a table read for the fourth episode of season nine of the CBS series. He is scheduled to play a character named Phillip Nelson during the episode, titled Mountebank.
Lindstrom also shared a snap from inside his trailer, writing: "Your own trailer AND they bring you breakfast. I love this biz."
But the excitement doesn't end there. Not only did the actor also share two snaps of him hanging with NCIS: Los Angeles star Costas Mandylor ("Costas thinking he can be taller than me," he joked. "Awesome guy, amazing actor"), he also posted a video of himself driving a camera car for a scene scheduled to appear on the series.

"You ever feel like somebody's watching you?" he teased of the fun situation.
There's no exact airdate information available for Lindstrom's NCIS: Los Angeles episode at this time, but the latest season of the series premieres on Sunday, October 1. Meanwhile, GH fans will be happy to hear that the actor will soon be joining Genie Francis (Laura Spencer) back in Port Charles after quite some time being a bit M.I.A. from the canvas.
