Nobody plays a nurse like General Hospital star Sonya Eddy, who's been in the role of Port Charles nurse Epiphany Johnson since 2006 and has other fictional nursing roles to her name, such as Miss Gathercole's nurse in Primetime Glick. She's now adding one more nurse role to her résumé with the film Frank and Penelope.
Written and directed by Sean Patrick Flanery, the crime thriller follows a drifter who's on his emotional last legs just as he finds a savior seductively dancing in a run-down strip club. The pair decides to head west with no destination in mind, and along the way, they accidentally encounter a dangerous cult leader and find themselves in a battle for life and love.
As mentioned, Eddy will once again step into the role of a nurse in the film, which also stars actors Flanery, Caylee Cowan, Billy Budinich, Donna D'Errico, and Kevin Dillon, among others.
The GH actress took to social media with the trailer for Frank and Penelope and teased that the film will be "coming to ya in June!"
