JANUARY 1997
January 6 to 10, 1997
Jax was happy when Miranda decided to stay in Port Charles permanently, and he offered to help Miranda in any way that he could. Jax told Brenda that he intended to marry her once his divorce was finalized and she was done playing detective with Sonny. Brenda tried to make a clean break from Sonny, because she was in love with Jax. Katherine felt sensation in her legs, but only shared the news with Stefan, because she felt a connection with him. Tom suspected that either Alexis or Stefan was responsible for Katherine's shooting. Carly was frustrated, because she blamed Tony and Bobbie's custody battle for keeping Tony from marrying her. Carly returned to Jake's to see Jason. Jason was forced to step in when a couple of men became sexually aggressive with Carly. Monica obtained a restraining order against Pierce. Emily's "friend" Matt persuaded her to drink some alcohol. Monica and Alan sensed that something was off with Emily, but she managed to explain it away.
January 13 to 17, 1997
Kevin asked Lucy to move in with him. Lucy was troubled when she found a box of letters in Kevin's closet that had belonged to Kevin's father, so she talked to Gail about the letters. Gail advised Lucy to take a step back so that Kevin could deal with his father in his own time. Mac proposed marriage to Katherine, but she didn't think that they were well-suited for each other, so she urged Mac to find the right person. Stefan hired a specialist to review Katherine's case. Alan and Monica made plans for Emily's birthday. Monica was furious when Pierce managed to ruin Emily's party despite the restraining order. Carly and Bobbie traded heated words, so Tony warned Carly that Carly needed to rise above it because of the custody battle. Jax proposed to Brenda with a new engagement ring, but Brenda wasn't ready to take the next step. However, Brenda agreed to wear Jax's ring. A mysterious stranger watched Sonny and those close to him.
January 20 to 24, 1997
Lucy went behind Kevin's back to get information on Kevin's father, Dr. Victor Collins. Felicia thought that it would be good for Mac to have Miranda living above the Outback. Jax and Miranda encountered stormy weather on their way back to Port Charles after signing the divorce papers. Brenda noticed that Sonny was no longer wearing his wedding ring. Jason tried to comfort Robin when she thought about Stone and reflected on the direction of her life. Katherine resisted the idea of physical therapy.
January 27 to 31, 1997
Robin decided to start a new HIV protocol that could help her live a "normal" life. Jax and Brenda argued about Sonny after a snowstorm stranded Sonny and Brenda in Jax and Brenda's apartment. Meanwhile, Jax had spent the night in a motel room with Miranda when they had encountered car trouble. Dorman's sexual harassment suit against Monica turned violent when Alan decked Dorman during Dorman's testimony. Katherine attempted to walk again with a little help from Stefan during a special night that they spent together. Mac followed Tom to where the Spencers had been hiding with Lesley and discovered that Laura was alive.

FEBRUARY 1997
February 3 to 7, 1997
Robin headed back to Yale. Mac and Taggert discovered that Laura and Lesley were still alive. Laura, Bobbie, Nikolas, and half of the town exchanged heated words during Laura's memorial service because friends and loved ones felt Laura had betrayed them. Nikolas told Laura that she was dead to him. Jax and Brenda argued about their marriage and their lack of trust for each other. Sonny, Tom, and Luke were interrogated at the police station about Katherine's shooting and Laura's "death." Lucy bailed Luke out, but Sonny and Tom were left in a holding cell. Sonny battled his claustrophobia while he languished in jail. Katherine learned that her mystery visitor was really Stefan Cassadine. The sexual harassment suit continued.
February 10 to 14, 1997
Lois returned to Port Charles to introduce her daughter, Brook Lynn, to Ned. Monica and Ned's long-ago affair was revealed during the sexual harassment trial. Nikolas and Stefan resolved their differences. Stefan vowed revenge on the Spencers. Bobbie and Luke's fight ended with Bobbie proclaiming herself a Cassadine, not a Spencer. Brenda and Sonny made the headline news when Brenda helped Sonny as he struggled with claustrophobia by getting him out of jail. Miranda teamed up with Sonny to break up Jax and Brenda. Felicia feared that her relationship with Tom was beyond repair. Justus agreed to legally represent Luke.
February 17 to 21, 1997
Miranda and Sonny had dinner to discuss Jax and Brenda. Lois entered the courtroom in time to hear Ned talk about the affair that he'd had with Monica. Lois decided to leave Ned when she overheard him threatening Justus. Dorman persuaded Nurse Rebecca Chase to testify against Monica by claiming that she had seen Monica fondle and threaten Dorman. Someone grabbed Brenda from behind as she went down to her garage to fetch more pills.
February 24 to 28, 1997
Sonny urged Brenda to stop fighting her feelings for him. Miranda confessed to Jax that she didn't want to let him go. Things didn't go well for Monica in court. Monica was faced with proof of how much Jason had changed. Alan was not pleased when he discovered that A.J. was drinking again. Harry was revealed to be Brenda's stalker who had a diabolical plan to murder her in front of Sonny. In the catacombs, Harry showed Sonny and Brenda a detonator, which he intended to use, but a phone call from Dorman interrupted him. Lesley recognized Monica.

MARCH 1997
March 3 to 7, 1997
Stefan warned Laura that Luke would find out that Laura and Stefan had slept together and that Stefan might be Nikolas' father if Laura didn't leave town right away. Tom tried to reconcile with Felicia. Lucy urged Kevin not to sign a contract with the Cassadines. Alan was determined to keep Monica from finding out that A.J. was drinking again. Felicia agreed to help Lucy investigate the Cassadines to uncover the real reason behind Kevin's job offer. Laura told Luke she was taking Lesley to a clinic in Switzerland. Luke decided to accompany Laura and Lesley. Emily stayed out all night because she and Matt had been drinking and smoking dope. Emily assured Alan and Monica that she wouldn't scare them like that again. Mac determined, with Jason's help, that Harry was the man who had been stalking Brenda. Meanwhile, Brenda told Sonny she loved him, and they made love.
March 10 to 14, 1997
Brenda and Sonny were rescued from the cave-in. Jax saved Sonny's life. Monica was forced to step down from all of her supervisory positions at the hospital when she was found guilty. Laura and Lesley left Port Charles for Switzerland after Stefan blackmailed Laura. A.J. continued drinking and told Keesha he had been driving drunk on the night that Jason was hurt. Katherine returned home from the hospital.
March 17 to 21, 1997
Brenda confronted her drug problem. Tom returned from Switzerland. Stefan was on hand to help when Katherine fell. Luke blackmailed Carly into spying on Katherine and Stefan for him. Katherine got some feeling back in her legs. Brenda took a pregnancy test. Bobbie began to have doubts about Stefan. Taggert had information about Deke. Bobbie was trapped by a fire in the warehouse.
March 24 to 28, 1997
Tony saved Bobbie when she was caught in a warehouse fire. Robin urged Sonny to stay away from Brenda for a while. Dorman was rattled when Jason confronted him. Luke visited Bobbie in the hospital. Carly was jealous of the attention that Bobbie received as Bobbie recuperated in the hospital. Kevin confronted Lucy about a letter to Oxford. Stefan kissed Katherine. Monica caught A.J. drinking and was furious that everyone had kept it a secret from her.
March 31 to April 4, 1997
Brenda moved out. Monica tried to bridge the gap between herself and A.J. Tony told Carly that he loved her. Kevin lied to Lucy about where he was headed; he flew to London instead of Arizona. Carly's adoptive mother, Virginia, had a stroke, so Carly rushed to her side. Stefan sent Bobbie out of town. Taggert finally revealed his connection with Deke to Sonny.

APRIL 1997
April 7 to 11, 1997
Jax told off Miranda. Robin urged Jason to be more understanding of the Quartermaines' loss. Brenda and Sonny met face-to-face for the first time since the cave-in. Taggert revealed that Deke had been his mentor and that Deke had accused Sonny of abusing Sonny's mother. Bobbie found evidence that Katherine and Stefan might be involved. Dorman pulled a gun on A.J. Stefan sent Bobbie out of town so he could spend time with Katherine. Kevin lied to Lucy again. Katherine took her first step. Mac gave final warning to Taggert to lay off Sonny. Miranda discovered Brenda's secret.
April 14 to 18, 1997
Miranda and Brenda squared off in Jax's penthouse. The information that A.J. had caused Jason's injuries was leaked to the press. Felicia accused Kevin of stalking her again. Sonny and Luke began to suspect Dorman's involvement with the increased drug trafficking in Port Charles. Emily returned home, dangerously high on drugs, and climbed up on the roof of the house. As Ned and Jax tried to talk her down, she slipped. A.J. and Carly got drunk together and went back to Jason's room.
April 21 to 25, 1997
Ned and Jax managed to talk Emily out of jumping off the roof during a drug-induced haze. Emily collapsed when Jason arrived. Jason administered CPR on Emily until the paramedics arrived. Carly slept with A.J. and Tony on the same night. Katherine and Stefan shared an intimate moment in his pool. Kevin counseled Brenda on her decision to tell Jax that she had slept with Sonny.
April 28 to May 2, 1997
Matt died of a drug overdose. Luke mentioned the Fabergé egg to Stefan, so Stefan broke into the Spencer home to look for it. Luke informed Bobbie of Stefan's affair with Katherine. Bobbie didn't believe her brother's claims. Lucy and Felicia teamed up to find out Kevin's secret. Miranda told Jax that Brenda had been unfaithful to him.

May 5 to 9, 1997
Tony tried to console a distraught Bobbie about the possibility that Stefan and Katherine were having an affair. Jax showed up at Miranda's after his business trip and told her to get out of town and stay out of his business. Brenda was surprised and disgusted when Dr. Dorman paid Jax a visit. Felicia suspected that Stefan was behind her mysterious computer problems. Lucy confided to Felicia about Kevin's strange behavior. Lucy was determined to help Kevin feel good about their future together and vowed that nothing would get between them. Jax and Brenda reached an understanding. Bobbie went home to Stefan after confronting Katherine. Stefan tried to seduce Bobbie, but she rebuffed his advances by claiming that she needed sleep, since she wasn't feeling well. Stefan was perplexed because of Bobbie's attitude. Felicia visited Kevin and told him about her theory regarding Stefan. Ned and Emily had a talk about drugs and the family.
May 12 to 16, 1997
The police investigated Jax for the drugs that had been found in his bag. Jason was certain that Dorman had planted the drugs on Jax in an effort to take down Sonny. Stefan knocked out Luke and left with the egg.. Lucy and Felicia skipped town and went to the convent in Paris. Kevin followed Lucy and Felicia. Katherine tried to walk on her own. Nicholas told Laura that Luke had saved his life after he'd "slipped" on the mountain. Nikolas called Bobbie from Switzerland to explain why he had not returned home. Jax had his drug possession hearing. Lucy and Felicia were hot on the trail to find out why Kevin was sending packages to the convent. Bobbie blew up at Stefan after she received papers saying that Tony was suing for custody of Lucas.
May 19 to 23, 1997
Bobbie and Stefan confronted Tony about filing for custody of Lucas. Nikolas found out that it was his uncle that had shot Katherine. Mac, Kevin, and the nuns caught Lucy and Felicia. Everyone was stunned when they found out that the person Kevin had been hiding was his father. Carly discovered that A.J. had moved in across the hall from her.. Jax found out that he had been a decoy for the drug ring that the police were trying to bust. Lucy was disappointed when she was told that Serena would not be visting.
May 26 to 30, 1997
Brenda confronted Jax about the fact that he had known that she and Sonny had slept together in the catacombs. Jax was arrested for trying to jump bail. Jax and Brenda shared a poignant and final goodbye. Monica kidnapped Dorman and shot him up with truth serum. Alan and A.J. finally started to get along. Stefan confronted Nikolas about being in Switzerland. Bobbie found out that it was Stefan who had pushed Nikolas off the mountain in Switzerland. Karen decided to accept Alan's offer and was invited to a hospital intern reception.

JUNE 1997
June 2 to 6, 1997
Tony told Bobbie that Carly had sent the lawsuit papers to Wyndemere. Dorman was released from jail. Sonny took Brenda to the lake and explained how important the place was to him; they made love. Monica confessed to Alan that she had kidnapped Dorman. Luke revealed to Bobbie that Stefan planned to plant a virus chip in the hospital's computers.. Emily had a breakdown after she found out that Dorman had taken her diary. Dorman was stabbed.
June 9 to 13, 1997
Dorman was found dead in the morgue. Monica found Emily wandering the halls of the hospital, covered in blood, so Emily was whisked back to the mansion. Carly discovered Jason in the morgue with Dorman's body, so Jason had her call the police. Jason was taken to the police station and then released later. Jax sponsored the Nurses Ball. The heroin was found. Bobbie confided in Luke about her suspicions of Stefan.
June 16 to 20, 1997
Audrey emerged from her coma. Detective Taggert interrogated the Quartermaines about Dorman's murder. Tony found out that Carly was pregnant. Bobbie figured out the password to Stefan's computer. The Nurses Ball was fast approaching. Brenda switched hair samples with Sonny at the police station. Bobbie was worried that Stefan suspected that someone had tampered with his computer.
June 23 to 27, 1997
The Nurses Ball began and was a spectacular event. The bloody scalpel was found in the trunk of Brenda's car. Tony pleaded with Carly to stay in Port Charles. Robin showed up at the Nurses Ball, even though she wasn't supposed to attend. Katherine surprised everyone by walking out onto the stage with a cane instead of in her wheelchair. Bobbie and Luke searched Wyndemere. Brenda was taken to the station for questioning. Alan arranged for a therapist to see Emily. Taggert received a tip about some incriminating clothing in a dumpster. Bobbie planned on sedating Stefan to get the necklace. Brenda escaped from jail. Bobbie got caught going into the safe.
June 30 to July 4, 1997
Stefan threw Bobbie out after catching her riffling through his things. Stefan felt betrayed that Bobbie had chosen Luke over him, so he vowed to destroy Bobbie. A.J. found a pregnancy pamphlet in Tony's apartment. Jason helped Brenda escape from police custody after she was charged with Dr. Dorman's murder. Sonny joined Brenda at the safe house. Monica decided to confess to the murder of Dr. Dorman's, but Ned talked her out of it. Bobbie told Tony that she would no longer fight him over visitation with Lucas.

JULY 1997
July 7 to 11, 1997
Audrey confronted Bobbie about the missing pills from the hospital. Luke went to a Russian Orthodox Church to try to find out what the Russian message on Stefan's computer meant. Katherine went to see Stefan and told him that she knew why he and Bobbie had separated. Bobbie caught Stefan and Katherine in a heated kiss. Stefan warned Bobbie that her career at General Hospital was over. Brenda and Sonny remained on the run. Jason made a connection between the origami and Dorman's murder. Stefan loaded the computer program and the countdown began. Nikolas was hurt.
July 14 to 18, 1997
Nikolas regained consciousness after suffering only a concussion. Jason was shot while sharing an evening with Robin at her house. Jason was certain that the "Tin Man" had shot him. Luke set fire to the Cassadine stables. Sonny and Brenda were safely hidden on the yacht. Lucky told Luke that he was not going to Switzerland for the summer. Jax asked Rebecca for her help, so she identified the sketch of the "Tin Man" as the person that she had seen in the morgue the night that Dorman had been killed. Nikolas left the hospital and went to Katherine's for help. Audrey and Sarah remembered Steve on the anniversary of his death. Jason survived the operation. Sonny became worried about Jason when he hadn't heard from Jason in days. Sonny and Brenda were almost caught when their boat was docked. Stefan threatened Bobbie with a divorce.
July 21 to 25, 1997
Jax and Officer V became stranded on an island. Sarah and Nikolas met again at the old chapel. Nikolas moved in with Katherine. Robin and Bobbie had a heart-to-heart conversation. Carly got Keesha drunk. Sarah and Lucky went to a barbecue together. Sonny and Brenda made it to Florida.
July 28 to August 1, 1997
Bobbie learned that Carly was pregnant. Sarah decided to stay in Port Charles for a year. Sonny fired Jason for Robin. Jason told Robin he was going to get his job back. Sonny and Brenda met the Tin Man. Jax and Officer V were rescued.

August 4 to 8, 1997
Sarah's sister, Elizabeth, showed up at Audrey's. Alan confronted Monica and Ned about keeping secrets from him. Emily gave a detailed account of the night that Dorman was murdered, but assured her family that she hadn't killed him. Brenda and Sonny found out that Rivera was the man who had tried to frame them. Rivera vowed to avenge his daughter's death by killing Sonny and Brenda. Robin left for Paris without Jason. Carly dreamed that A.J. had found out that the baby she was carrying was his, so she set out to make certain that A.J.'s memory didn't return.
August 11 to 15, 1997
Alexis laid the groundwork for her plan to break up Stefan and Katherine. Audrey advised Sarah to make a choice between Lucky and Nikolas to prevent friction between the brothers. Rivera was killed. The murder charges against Sonny and Brenda were dropped. A.J. credited Carly with helping him to stay sober, unaware that Carly intended to drug A.J.. Ruby agreed to give Elizabeth a job at Kelly's.
August 18 to 22, 1997
Carly dumped a drugged A.J. in an alley, doused him with alcohol, and called his parents to find him. A.J. was devastated because it appeared to everyone, including himself, that he had started drinking again. Mick squeezed Carly for more money when he discovered that A.J. was a Quartermaine. Bobbie overheard Carly tell A.J. that she and Tony planned to get married. Elizabeth tried to get a volunteer job at the hospital. Sonny asked Brenda to marry him. V Ardanowski lost her job at the Sheriff's Department.
August 25 to 29, 1997
Elizabeth stuck her foot in her mouth with Lucky. Carly tried to stop A.J. from taking a drink at the Outback. Carly urged A.J. to go to rehab, so A.J. agreed. A.J. and Keesha realized that Carly had been up to something on the night that A.J. had supposedly relapsed because of something that A.J.'s neighbor had mentioned. Monica and Emily made plans to go to Italy for a month. A.J. made plans to go into rehab out of state. Tony and Carly set their wedding date. Felicia was hurt when she received a letter from Tom ending their relationship. Mac asked Dara to help him find Felicia. Jax gave V a job as his assistant.

Keesha helped A.J. to uncover the truth about what had happened on the night that A.J. had blacked out. Bobbie and Carly traded heated words when they ran into each other while Carly was looking at wedding dresses. Felicia returned to Port Charles with the girls. A shot rang out during a struggle between Sonny and the Tin Man.
September 8 to 12, 1997
Carly had a couple of confrontations, one with A.J. and one with Keesha. Carly was running scared, so she convinced Tony to elope. The Tin Man and Sonny's bodyguard, Joseph, were killed in a shootout. Felicia was jealous of Mac and Dara's friendship. Stefan had someone dig up the casket with his alleged sister's body in it.
September 15 to 19, 1997
Jax guessed that V's name was Venus. Mr. Reed threatened Sonny and Brenda's lives. A.J. confronted Carly at the airport when he remembered the one-night stand that he'd had with her. Tony went to see Bobbie to tell her he was eloping. Stefan and Katherine grew closer. Three separate men showed up at the Outback to take Felicia to the wedding. Everyone at the church began to doubt that Sonny would to show up for his wedding to Brenda -- except Brenda. Sonny decided that the best way to protect Brenda was to disappear, so he started to head out of town. However, at the last moment, Sonny told the driver to turn the limo around.
September 22 to 26, 1997
A.J. told Carly he wouldn't tell Tony about their night together if Carly proved the baby wasn't A.J.'s. Jason arrived at the church to tell Brenda that Sonny was gone. Jax told V he didn't want to hurt forever, so he had to let go of Brenda. Carly called on her friend Loraine, from nursing school, to help her fix the ultrasound. Katherine and Stefan spent the night together, but nothing happened. However, Alexis was certain that Katherine and Stefan had slept together. Stefan tried to convince Katherine that he had used her -- that their relationship was a ruse -- but she didn't believe him. Carly showed up for the ultrasound. Loraine recognized A.J. as one of the Quartermaines and was intrigued. Monica returned without Emily, who had decided to visit friends in Arizona.
September 29 to October 3, 1997
Keesha told Monica the truth about what had happened to A.J. on the night that he had supposedly relapsed. Later, Monica confronted Carly. Jax went to see Brenda. Edward urged Brenda to move back to the Quartermaine mansion, so Brenda agreed. Edward overwhelmed Brenda with a flurry of activities as soon as she moved in and even went so far as to hire a yoga instructor. An angry mystery person was on the hunt for the missing Aztec statue. Stefan fired Katherine from her hospital job. Katherine received a call from the school when Nikolas got in trouble. Katherine paid Stefan a visit but got into an argument with Alexis instead. Lois returned home for a visit and met Alexis.

OCTOBER 1997

Luke returned. Sarah and Nikolas shared their first kiss. Katherine was the topic of discussion at a General Hospital Board meeting; Stefan humiliated her in public again. Later, Katherine and Bobbie commiserated over their experiences with Stefan. Bobbie walked in on Carly paying off Lorraine. Bobbie immediately told Tony what she had seen, but Carly lied her way out of the dilemma.
October 13 to 17, 1997
Lorraine called Tony and dropped hints about Carly's sonogram. A.J. got locked in a closet with Carly, but Keesha happened along to save him. A.J. turned down Carly's offer to be friends again. Stefan spotted Luke as Luke struck up a friendship with Katherine. Luke was pleased that he had gotten under Stefan's skin. Jason had trouble filling Sonny's shoes. Alan's drug abuse began to catch up with him. Julia returned to Port Charles.
October 20 to 24, 1997
Tony checked up on the rumor that Carly had gotten a sonogram at another hospital. Carly's plan to leave town backfired. A.J. overheard Carly and Lorraine agreeing to meet in the park while they discussed Carly's next move. A.J. followed Carly and got an earful. Julia spent the week checking out every man in town, starting with Jax. Julia and Brenda finally made peace after a lot of verbal sparring. Alan weaved a long string of lies together to cover his growing drug addiction.
October 27 to 31, 1997
Jax thought that Brenda needed to buy a house of her own, so they went house hunting together. Lorraine suggested that Carly induce labor early, so that the baby would arrive on the day that A.J. thought that it should be born. Carly was appalled at the idea of doing anything to hurt the child, but Lorraine cautioned her not to be too hasty with her decision. Alan's drug use was in danger of being exposed when the mayor decided to test all General Hospital staffers for possible drug misuse. Elizabeth staged it to look like Nikolas wanted to give Sarah condoms as a present. Alexis tried to destroy all evidence that she had tricked Katherine and Stefan. Unfortunately for Alexis, Luke had been lurking around the castle. Maxie celebrated her Halloween birthday. Edward informed Stefan that Stefan was no Steve Hardy when Stefan refused to participate in the GH holiday festivities. Edward insisted that it would be a blessing when Stefan left town.

Tess showed Felicia a picture of James Meadows, Tess's husband, who looked exactly like Mac. Mac insisted that he would never abandon a wife if he had one. Felicia believed Mac but had second thoughts when Tess quoted her husband. Luke left Alexis' telltale papers where Stefan could find them. Julia left Port Charles. Virginia called Bobbie to say Virginia was in constant contact with the daughter that Bobbie had thought had died. Bobbie believed that Virginia was suffering from denial, because Luke would never lie to her. Luke tried to cover his tracks with a visit to Carly. Tony declared that November 14th would be his wedding day to Carly. A.J. got his hands on the real sonogram and the correct due date, so he paid Carly a visit.
November 10 to 14, 1997
Ned and Jax made plans to take down the Cassadines. A.J. threatened to tell Tony about A.J. and Carly's one-night stand to force Carly to have a paternity test to determine who had fathered Carly's baby. Carly insisted that she loved Tony and that he was the father of her baby. A.J. promised to keep quiet about sleeping with Carly if Carly didn't leave town or marry Tony. Carly agreed to A.J.'s terms, but she was certain that once she and Tony were married, nothing would be able to break them up. Carly and Tony went to a justice of the peace to get married. Keesha proposed that she and A.J. take a trip to France, but A.J. insisted that he was needed at home. George confessed that he had lied to Stefan and that Alexis had been behind it.
November 17 to 21, 1997
Carly and Tony's marriage was stopped when Carly passed out at the justice of the peace. Tony grew suspicious of Carly. Alan's drug addiction continued to go unnoticed. Bobbie found pictures of Carly in Luke's safe. After confronting Alexis about her plot against Katherine, Stefan threw Alexis out of Wyndemere.
November 24 to 28, 1997
Stefan attempted to find Katherine to reconcile with her, but she had left town. Tony pressured Lorraine for the truth when he realized that she and Carly were hiding something. Luke started to unravel Alexis' scheme. Tess was revealed to be in cahoots with Mac's double, James Meadows.

December 1 to 5, 1997
Luke revealed to Alexis that he knew that she was really Natasha. Katherine and Stefan reconciled and consummated their relationship. Tony was unsuccessful in his attempt to get the truth about Carly from Lorraine. Sarah told Nikolas she wasn't ready to sleep with him. James Meadows successfully impersonated Mac.
December 8 to 12, 1997
Nikolas was shot in front of Luke's club by gunmen who had been aiming for Jason. Jason saved Nikolas' life then was briefly reunited with Robin when he went to Paris to ensure her safety. At the Christmas photo shoot, Brenda suffered a psychotic break. Tony told Carly that they were over and that he was suing for sole custody of the baby. A furious Carly told Tony he was not the biological father of the baby -- Jason was.
December 15 to 19, 1997
Brenda was admitted to the hospital, but failed to convince the doctors that she was stable enough to leave. Tess and James kidnapped Mac so that James could take Mac's place. Carly moved in with Jason and told him everything about herself and what she had been up to. Jason agreed to help Carly keep her baby. Everyone found out that Carly claimed that Jason was her baby's father. A.J. confronted Jason.
December 22 to 26, 1997
Helena revealed that she had arranged for Alexis' mother's murder and that Mikkos had persuaded Helena to spare Alexis' life. Luke warned Alexis that she might not survive Helena and Stefan's wrath. Brenda was released from the hospital but continued to sink mentally. Brenda made a pass at Jason when he stopped by to check on her. A.J. was stunned when Jason admitted that he had slept with Carly. Carly began to bleed and passed out as she called out for Jason.
December 29, 1997 to January 2, 1998
Carly gave birth to a son. The baby's blood type ruled Tony out as the father. Carly's baby was diagnosed with a heart problem. Jason claimed that he was the father of Carly's son. Stefan didn't believe Alexis was his sister. Jax flew to Paris to persuade Robin to return for Brenda's sake. Nikolas was released from the hospital.
