Helena demanded that Stefan provide her with an alibi for the night of Katherine's murder, but Stefan refused. Helena decided to frame Faison for the murder. Nikolas was worried that Elizabeth's friendship with Jason might put her life in jeopardy. Jason decided that the best way to keep Elizabeth safe was to stay away from her. Chloe and Jax's feelings for each other deepened. Mac spied on Luke and Felicia. Edward accused A.J. of bungling an important union negotiation for ELQ. Monica and Alan argued about Carly's influence on A.J. Carly decided to invite Sonny to the ELQ board party at the Quartermaine mansion, in an effort to humiliate A.J.
Faison escaped jail with Helena's help and told Luke that Lucky was still alive. Faison's boat exploded, and he was presumed dead. Jason decided that he needed to leave town for good and started saying his goodbyes. Carly made a spectacle of herself at A.J.'s ELQ party, and he told her she had to see a psychiatrist or risk losing Michael. Hannah tried to get Jason to help her with Sonny, but Sonny told her to get out. Alan and Monica decided to go along with Ned's plan and have Alan marry Gertrude. Luke decided to find out if Lucky was alive or not.
Jason said his goodbyes and left Port Charles for good. Carly was dumbfounded to discover she was pregnant with Sonny's child. Roy and Hannah revealed on the docks that they were indeed father and daughter. Monica and Alan began to play the roles of fighting married people in order to divorce and have Alan marry Gertrude. Jax and Chloe spent more time together, but Chloe began to get cold feet.
Stefan continued to be suspicious of Helena. Carly tried to get A.J. to sleep with her, but he wouldn't. Liz and Carly both missed Jason. Carly considered having an abortion. Felicia and Laura exchanged harsh words about Luke. Chloe was hit by Helena's car.
Carly couldn't go through with the abortion and later seduced A.J. into bed. Roy told Bobbie that Hannah was his daughter, and Bobbie told Roy that Carly was pregnant with Sonny's child. Luke and Felicia decided to search for Lucky together. Stefan followed Helena and found out she was hiding Lucky. Chloe regained consciousness but was still blind.
Chloe continued to struggle with her blindness. A.J. agreed to pass off Carly's baby as his, believing the baby was Jason's. Stefan hired a mercenary to help him get Lucky from Helena. Monica and Alan celebrated her fifth year of being cancer free. Luke and Felicia overheard Stefan talking about Lucky.
Sonny confronted Carly about the baby in front of the Quartermaines. Edward convinced A.J. not to kick Carly out. Laura continued to have doubts about being ready to move on with Stefan. Emily told Elizabeth about Carly and the baby. Alexis agreed to help Stefan best Helena. Gertrude caught Jax and Chloe together. Hannah learned that Sonny was the father of Carly's baby.
Gertrude caught Jax and Chloe red-handed and seized control of Chloe Morgan Designs. Hannah learned about Carly's pregnancy and confronted Sonny. Nikolas and Elizabeth both began new jobs. Sonny and Carly shared a bonding moment after the DNA testing. Luke saw Lucky in the window of Helena's cabin.
Chloe regained her sight. Sonny forced A.J. to sign papers to divorce Carly and give her full custody of Michael. Luke told Laura that he had seen Lucky alive and that Stefan had him. Laura confronted Stefan. Helena planned to keep Lucky out of Port Charles. Mac forced a confession from Felicia, and then he left her.
Lucky's questions to Helena were met with cryptic answers, but she assured him that all of the "lies" he'd been told by his parents would soon be dispelled. Laura unleashed her fury on Stefan. Chloe's latest CT scan showed bad news. A.J. dealt with his family's anger over losing Michael through his stupidity. Carly and Sonny became unholy roommates. Nikolas confronted Stefan about his brother's kidnapping and told Liz that Lucky might be alive. Felicia dealt with the anger from her daughters and tried to persuade Mac to give her another chance. Both Luke and Laura assured a skeptical Liz that Lucky was alive and they would get him home safely. A.J. was tempted to drink. Luke and Laura set out to find Lucky. Sorel captured Bobbie.
Carly planned to divorce A.J. Bobbie learned that her fate depended on Sonny's response to Sorel's demands. As Helena continued to give Lucky a distorted history of his family, Luke and Laura headed for New York to search Helena's yacht. Roy found a clue to Bobbie's whereabouts. Felicia was shocked to see Helena.
Luke and Laura rejected Stefan's offer to help them find Lucky. Later, Laura spurned Stefan's declarations of love. Chloe and Jax learned that she might lose her sight. Sorel told Sonny that he would set Bobbie free if Sonny ran drugs for him. Felicia overheard Helena's plans for Luke and Laura and was torn between keeping her promise to Mac to never see Luke again and telling Luke and Laura what she had heard.
Felicia told Luke and Laura about Helena's plan to use Lucky as bait in her revenge plot against them. Despite Roy's declaration of love for her, Bobbie threw him out when she learned that he had been involved in Jerry's arrest. Rae Cummings arrived in Port Charles, looking for an antique desk. A.J. rushed at Sonny but inadvertently threw Carly to the ground. Felicia found a clue to Lucky's whereabouts but tumbled over a cliff in the process.
Carly escaped injury after a drunken A.J. knocked her to the ground. Sonny was unable to shake off the incident. Later, Carly comforted Sonny after he'd had a nightmare about Lily. Jax learned that Chloe was keeping her headaches a secret from him. Rae continued to search for the Bible that she believed had a link to her missing daughter. Along the way, she found a few long-time friends. Bobbie vowed not to lose Roy again. Luke and Laura met face-to-face with Lucky.
Stefan threatened to kill Helena if she didn't tell him where Lucky was being held. Helena assured Stefan that she had released Lucky, unharmed, at a diner in Vancouver. Helena gloated that Luke and Laura would soon realize the depths of her revenge against them. Luke and Laura were overjoyed when they tracked their son down at the Triple L Diner, but Lucky was cold towards his parents. Lucky eventually made his way back to Port Charles without his parents. Roy and Bobbie made love, but Roy remained concerned about having to return to prison. Bobbie turned to Alexis for help. Bobbie blamed Carly for Roy's plight, so she refused to let Carly move in. Tony and Rae continued their hunt for the Bible. Rae and Alan talked about their past, and decided that it would be best not to tell Monica. Mac talked to Mirah about his floundering relationship with Felicia. Felicia was heartbroken when Maxie refused to talk to her, so she blamed Mac for turning her daughters against her. Chloe expressed concern about Jax's rivalry with the Quartermaines. Chloe urged A.J. to stop drinking and trying to go after his family by raiding a small subsidiary of the family business.
Nikolas and Elizabeth worked together to search for Lucky. Lucky warned Lulu not to tell their parents that she had seen him. Mike spotted Lucky on the docks, and told Lucky about how deeply Elizabeth had been hurt when she had thought that Lucky had died. Roy warned Bobbie that her life might be in danger, if she reported Larkin's death threat against Sonny. Emily confronted Carly about Carly's decision to stay with Sonny. Carly made it clear to Sonny that she wasn't interested in a marriage of convenience. A.J. tried to enlist Bobbie's help to see Michael, but Bobbie insisted that Michael didn't need to be around a father who was a drunk. Chloe had another dream about the mysterious music box. Tony thanked Rae for persuading him to have the operation to repair the damage to his hand.
Sonny and Carly grew closer. A guard on Sonny's payroll saved Roy from being killed by fellow inmates. Chloe recognized the music from her dreams. Rae headed back to Llanview. Nikolas asked Helena about Lucky's strange behavior. Liz and Lucky met face-to-face.
Sonny and Carly made love. Sonny vowed to take care of Carly, Michael, and the new baby, and then presented her with a beautiful engagement ring. Johnny helped Roy to escape, while Roy was being transferred to prison. At the safe house, Sonny offered Roy money and help to leave the country, but Roy declined. Bobbie managed to sneak a visit with Roy, who told her about his and Sonny's plan to set up Larkin. Elizabeth was crushed when Lucky ran away after she spotted him on the docks. Lucky misinterpreted things when he saw Nikolas comfort Elizabeth. Felicia went to Texas to visit her daughters, but Mariah told Felicia that Felicia's last visit had upset the girls too much. Felicia was determined to repair her broken relationship with her daughters. The Quartermaines celebrated Monica's birthday. Tony informed Chloe that her tumor had not been responding to the medication.
Lesley Lu reassured Lucky that Liz still loved him. Luke reeled at the news that Sonny had fathered Carly's baby and that Roy was an FBI informant. Stefan gave Laura photos of Lucky in Port Charles. Larkin put out a hit on Roy.
Following Larkin's orders, Sonny shot Roy and watched his "body" fall into the river. Lucky raged at Luke over his lies and later rejected a heartbroken Laura. After overhearing Liz say she loved him, Lucky told Helena that he wouldn't stay around and cause Liz more pain. Carly accepted Sonny's marriage proposal. A chance meeting led Liz and Lucky to a kiss.
After falling down the stairs during an argument with A.J., Carly suffered severe injuries, and she and Sonny lost the baby. Laura failed to convince Luke that he should return home so they could assure Lucky that their family was secure and happy as always; later Laura drowned her troubles in double scotches at Jake's. Tony gave Chloe a mixed diagnosis; the radiation had halted the growth of her tumor but failed to shrink it. Chloe questioned her relationship with Jax after his treatment of Edward during the ELQ takeover attempt. Edward tried to stop the Eddie Maine concert by locking Ned in a storage closet; Juan filled in for Ned while Alexis rescued Ned. In an attempt to relive the magic of the previous year, Elizabeth, Lucky, Nikolas, and Emily had dinner at Kelly's. Bobbie and Roy got crucial evidence against Larkin but were forced to go on the run again when he discovered them on the island.
Sonny and Carly continued to grieve separately until Bobbie convinced Carly that they needed to go through the difficult time together. Bobbie and Roy discovered that Larkin was their pilot and were forced to parachute from their plane. After returning to Port Charles, Roy and Sonny made plans to reveal Larkin's crimes to the FBI, but Larkin kidnapped Hannah. Alexis feared that the reappearance of Eddie Maine would lead to the reappearance of Lois, Ned's ex-wife. Jax backed off from the ELQ takeover so he could free up funds to buy the company that produced the medicine Chloe needed, but discovered that Helena was the owner. After eavesdropping on a cryptic conversation between Lucky and Helena, Stefan was convinced that Lucky had been brainwashed. Lucky told Elizabeth that she should date Nikolas. A rare tropical flu forced Luke and Felicia to be quarantined at Kelly's, much to Mac's displeasure. Mac discussed his failing marriage and the trouble with Maxie with his old friend Kevin.
Emily was upset over the attention Juan was receiving from an overzealous fan. After Helena refused to sell Jax the medicine Chloe needed, Jax went to Europe in hopes of being able to buy the medicine abroad. Stefan, aware of Helena's plans to kill him, plotted to frame Luke for his murder. Chloe witnessed the murder in her dreams. Mac sued Felicia for divorce and custody of the girls; an upset Felicia and Luke made love. Taggert, Roy, and Sonny teamed up to rescue a kidnapped Hannah from Larkin.
Larkin attempted to kill Hannah, but Sonny rescued her; later, Sonny and Roy turned Larkin over to the FBI and received immunity. After a confrontation with A.J., Carly wanted Sonny to kill A.J.; when Sonny refused, Carly began to make her own plans. Chloe told Ned, and then Mac, about her dream of Stefan's murder. Mac, convinced Stefan was dead, arrested Luke for the crime; Luke refused to tell Mac that Felicia was his alibi for the crime. Roy later helped Luke break out of jail and prepare to flee the country, but not before one last visit with Felicia. Lucky found that he could not control his feelings for Liz and attempted to tell Helena so. A very-much-alive Stefan relaxed at a spa far away from Port Charles.
Laura confronted Felicia and blamed her for Luke's trouble; Felicia felt Laura was responsible. At the Nurses Ball, Robin was shocked to learn that Sonny and Carly were a couple. Carly pulled a gun on A.J., but Sonny reminded her that it would only hurt Michael; later, Sonny took Carly away to the island so she could relax. A.J. was exhilarated by his brush with death and continued to pursue Hannah. Bobbie warned Helena to stay away from Lucky. Elizabeth was surprised to discover that Lucky had been secretly visiting her art studio. Alexis, Laura, and Nikolas all grieved for Stefan as he enjoyed life in Paris.
Tony, concerned about Lucas, expressed his concerns about Bobbie's relationship with Roy. Monica confessed to Bobbie that she might be pregnant. Alan, suspicious of Monica's behavior, accused her of having an affair. Stefan was overjoyed that Helena believed that he was dead and that Mac had framed Luke for the "murder." During their vacation, Sonny and Carly made love and continued to grow closer. Chloe told Jax about her dreams and her recent encounter with Helena. Jax vowed to do whatever was necessary to get Chloe the medicine that she needed, and he agreed to meet with Helena. Laura, upset and alone at Jake's, made a pass at Mac, which he tenderly declined. A.J. continued to try to get closer to Hannah, but Taggert warned A.J. to stay away from her. Roy was shocked to learn that Luke was the one who had raped Laura. Emily and Juan got into an argument at the rave, so Emily left the party with another guy.
Alan was initially shocked when he learned that Monica thought she might be pregnant, but slowly became as excited by the prospect of another child as she was. A.J. tried to lose his inheritance while online trading. Roy declined Bobbie's offer that he move into the Brownstone, but they made plans to visit Hawaii. Jax prepared to bed Helena in order to get the medicine Chloe needed; Chloe had disturbing dreams about Jax. Stefan began to investigate a possible link between Chloe and Helena. Emily was terrified when she woke up in a hotel room next to a dead man named Ted and was holding a syringe in her hand. Lucky and Nikolas hid Ted's body at Wyndemere; Emily was relieved to learn she had not been raped, but received a disturbing call from another girl. Juan tried to apologize to Emily for his recent behavior, but she refused to talk to him.
Emily's blackmailer demanded $5,000; Nikolas supplied the cash while he and Lucky made plans to catch the blackmailer. Juan misinterpreted a close moment between Emily and Lucky, which resulted in a fistfight between the Juan and Lucky; later, Emily walked in on Juan and Shelly making out. Ned agreed to go on tour as Eddie Maine while Alexis expressed doubts about the future of their relationship once he became a rock star again. Jax tricked Helena and took the medication Chloe needed; Helena threw a party on her yacht for a select group of General Hospital's staff, which Chloe insisted on attending. Helena ordered Lucky to break up with Liz once and for all. Carly moved out of Sonny's penthouse, but both realized how much they missed one another.
After Emily caught Juan in a compromising situation with another girl, she broke up with him and accused him of using her to start his music career. Nikolas and Lucky panicked when they were temporarily unable to locate the freezer containing Ted's body; their problems worsened when they discovered that Ted had been an undercover cop. Bobbie told Carly that she didn't want her daughter staying at the Brownstone; Carly decided to return to Sonny but found him consoling Liz yet again. A distraught Alexis openly accused Helena of killing Stefan. After Chloe revealed some information about Helena's music box, Helena turned her attention toward Chloe. Meanwhile, Stefan continued to search for a link between the two women.
After finding evidence that Helena had been in their apartment, Jax and Chloe once again tried to present their evidence of Stefan's death to Mac. Stefan investigated Chloe's medical records in an effort to figure out her connection to Helena; meanwhile Helena also obtained a copy of Chloe's medical records. Carly got into several arguments with various Port Charles citizens; Liz, Lucky, Bobbie, and Sonny all exchanged angry words with Carly. Later, Roy comforted Carly. Lucky was jealous of the closeness shared between Sonny and Liz and was shocked to learn of her past relationship with Jason. Monica was angered when Alan consulted a fertility doctor without her permission but was pacified by the dreamy Dr. Townsend. Ned received two offers -- one for L&B, and one for Juan's contract; he turned down both.
Mike worried about the $30,000 in gambling debts he owed Sorel, but refused to involve Sonny in his situation. Helena decided that Chloe needed to die; meanwhile Chloe had a menacing vision of the act. Stefan made plans to switch Chloe's medication so that she could continue to have visions about Helena. Hannah and Taggert made love but faced the disapproving eyes of Mac and Dara while Juan gloated over his guardian's activities. A disguised Liz found out more about Gia; meanwhile Emily decided to tell Juan about the night of the rave. Sonny rented out Jason's penthouse to Alexis in his attempts to manipulate Carly back into his penthouse; in retaliation, Carly began to flirt with Roy. Alexis and Ned argued about her new living arrangements but later reconciled.
Chloe and Jax made plans to leave town, but Helena arrived at their island hideout first. Meanwhile, Helena's hit man had tracked down Stefan. Emily wondered if she had done the right thing in telling Juan her secret, as her other friends worried about Juan's trustworthiness. Nikolas paid Gia to help them find the guy who had murdered Ted; later, she recognized Zander talking to Elizabeth. Bobbie was angered when she saw Carly and Roy flirting; later, she wondered about his further involvement in organized crime. Mike asked Carly for help with his gambling debts, and she agreed to ask Sonny for the money. Edward attempted to have A.J. arrested for insider trading. After telling Emily of their plans, Monica and Alan began fertility treatments.
Sorel informed Sonny of Mike's gambling debts; Sorel then pressured Sonny to help him move drugs through Port Charles. Carly, unaware that Sonny would be at the meeting with Sorel, tipped off the police to the activity and recorded the entire conversation. Monica tested Alan's ability to adequately perform when the time was right. Maxie and Mac talked about their feelings towards Felicia. Chloe found out that Jax had spotted someone he thought was Brenda and, after understanding the true depth of his feelings for his earlier love, was upset about his actions. Helena prepared to kill Chloe. In another effort to woo Hannah, A.J. sent her tons of flowers, to Taggert's apartment; later, A..J attempted to move into the Brownstone so he could be closer to Hannah. Lucky realized something was seriously wrong with his mind; Juan and Elizabeth both became jealous of Lucky and Emily's friendship. At another rave, Elizabeth met up with Zander.
Chloe fought off Helena's attempt on her life. Jax went to Paris in search of Brenda and discovered her on the street. Alexis was shocked to learn she was the Internet's latest pinup girl. Lucky told a drugged Elizabeth how much he really loved her, knowing she would remember nothing in the morning. Sonny was arrested on charges of drug trafficking. Edward and A.J. both saw Sonny's arrest as an opportunity to get custody of Michael. Alexis told Sonny he needed to marry Carly in order to prevent her from testifying. Jason returned home to Port Charles.
Jax left Chloe in order to pursue Brenda; Chloe was then kidnapped from her room and later awoke and was shocked to see Stefan alive. Carly told Jason all that had happened since he had left Port Charles. She became convinced that Jason would be able to solve all of her problems. When Alexis told Sonny that Jason should take Carly out of the country so she couldn't testify against him, Sonny informed a stunned Carly that they were getting married. At Ned's concert, the press asked Alexis more questions about being Eddie's Angel. Zander met with Sorel. Roy went in search of Luke.
Carly informed a stunned A.J. that Jason was back in town; A.J. responded by lashing out at everyone. After failing to convince Jason to leave the country with her and Michael, Carly agreed to marry Sonny. Stefan convinced Chloe that Helena had kidnapped both of them, and he then attempted to earn her friendship and trust. Lucky and Nikolas succeeded in planting the dead body of Ted the cop in Zander's car; Emily arrived at the rave, and Zander confronted her. Luke decided it was time to return to Port Charles, but he and Roy argued over the best way to do so and about their pasts. Ned and Alexis were caught on tape again.
At the rave, Taggert exposed Ted's body in Zander's trunk. Stefan assured Chloe that her dreams could help him take down Helena. Luke and Roy agreed to meet back in Port Charles. Zander rushed a desperately ill Emily to the clinic. Lucky managed to get Nikolas' money from Helena.
Jason helped Carly go through her wedding ceremony, even though she had second thoughts. Emily and Zander continued to bond. Alexis was removed from Luke's case, but Luke refused the help of her replacement -- Scott Baldwin.
Jason searched for Zander and Emily. Jason found a letter Emily had written to her family, so he took it home to Monica and Lila. Liz and Lucky were concerned about Lucky's trances. Sonny learned that Mike had gambling debts. Chloe grew to trust Stefan. Carly was stunned when Sonny told her that he didn't think their marriage would work out.
Emily confided in Zander about her relationship with Juan. Jason saved Liz and Scott from Sorel. Lucky and Jason later ambushed a terrified Zander. Luke realized Felicia would jeopardize her marriage if she testified for him and urged Roy to stop her. As he had planned, Stefan and Chloe were "caught" during their escape. Bobbie saw Laura enter the courtroom.
Felicia's testimony about her affair with Luke won Luke an acquittal. In the process, though, Laura and Mac were left devastated. While talking to Scott, Laura reminded him how she and Luke had once betrayed him. Nikolas confronted Helena about Lucky's allegations. Ned proposed to Alexis. Zander paid Emily a surprise visit.
Zander told Emily that he dodn't want to say goodbye to her. Despite Helena's objections, Nikolas stood by Gia and refused to bag their relationship. Helena tried to strong-arm Laura out of the hospital by accusing her of neglecting her duties and calling a special board meeting to get her removed. Bobbie defended Laura. Chloe discovered new information about Stefan's childhood.
Nikolas and Lucky teamed up to discover why Zander had such a pull on Emily. Scott urged Laura to start a new venture. Helena cut off Nikolas as part of his punishment for defying her. Alexis asked Brook Lynn to be her flower girl. Lucky reached out to Liz. Liz saw Luke kidnap Nikolas. Juan saw Zander comforting Emily.
Sonny agreed to finance Laura's new business venture -- provided she take Carly on as a partner. Lucas dressed up as a gangster and announced that he was going as Roy for Halloween. Juan asked Sonny for help in getting Alexis to drop Zander as her client. Laura was furious when she learned that Luke had kidnapped Nikolas. Gia went job hunting. Liz and Lucky started to make love for the first time.
On the island, Chloe and Stefan grew closer. Helena legally claimed the Ice Princess, and the IRS froze all of Luke's bank accounts. Carly got so involved with helping Mike and Tammy that Michael wandered off by himself. Alexis and Ned were under extreme wedding stress and pressure from the media. The Quartermaines continued to battle over what was best for Emily regarding her growing attachment to Zander. Laura and Sonny were close to a deal about Deception; the only thing standing in the way was Laura's protest against Sonny's choice of partner -- Carly.
Laura found Michael at the waterfront just seconds before Carly did and tried to reassure Carly that it could happen to any mother. Carly was truthful with Sonny about Michael getting lost, and the confession drew them closer until Sonny had Carly tailed and found she was giving money to Mike. Emily and Alexis persuaded Zander to testify against Sorel. Hannah told A.J. she could not get involved with him on any level, as she and Taggert grew closer. Lucky moved in above the diner and next door to Elizabeth, and it grew increasingly harder for them to resist each other. Bobby became forgetful, and Laura agreed to Sonny's terms as she reconsidered working with Carly.
Chloe told Stefan that she had dreamed of Helena and the Ice Princess. Stefan later realized Chloe was going blind and arranged an "escape" from the island. Scott pulled Laura into a kiss when she told him of her successful deal with Sonny. Nikolas invited Lucky, Liz, Juan, and Emily to Gia's for Thanksgiving dinner.
Scott warned Sonny not to play fast and loose with his dealings with Laura. Stefan arranged his and Chloe's "escape" from the island. A threatening letter turned up in Zander's cell. Gia's mother interviewed for a position at the hospital while A.J. offered Gia a job of her own.
Stefan and Chloe "escaped" from their island prison and returned to Port Charles. When Juan realized he was losing Emily to Zander, he forced her to choose between them. Emily refused to play his game, and Juan insisted that meant she chose the cop killer. A.J. pretended to be drunk at Ned's bachelor party, but was really drinking only water. Tensions between Sonny and Taggert renewed and were also felt by new partners Laura and Carly. Sorel threatened Carly. Bobbie's memory problems worsened, and she forgot to have the brakes on her car fixed; she and Roy were involved in an accident. Luke and Felicia found themselves masquerading together once again to try to get the Ice Princess back from Helena, who tried to declare Nikolas incompetent so she could take over his estate.
