One Life to Live and The Young and the Restless alum Christopher Douglas has landed a new gig. Just a matter of weeks after being dismissed from Y&R in what has been called "a power struggle," the actor has set up shop at Passions.
Douglas joins Passions in the contract role of Brian, a new character that will impact the lives of several Harmony residents. There are already rumors that "Brian" is a code name for another role on the show.
Douglas has previously played Dylan Moody on OLTL and Sean Bridges on Y&R. Douglas was released from his contract at Y&R after a reported disagreement between the show's executive producer and head writer about the character's future.
Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on August 26, 1969, green-eyed Douglas was raised there, and went on to go the the University of Tennessee where he studied medicine. He was bitten by the modeling bug, and started his career doing shoots for Gianni Versace and Armani. After starring in the movies Assault on Devil's Island and Playing Mona Lisa, Douglas took some time off to compete in rodeos throughout Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho, also working ranches in Wyoming and Arizona. When he's not working, the 6'0" Scottish / East Cherokee actor enjoys spending time with his horses in Montana.
Douglas will begin airing on September 24th.
