CBS renews entire daytime lineup through 2015

The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, and the rest of CBS's daytime lineup aren't going anywhere. The lineup was renewed through 2015 -- with Y&R getting a multi-year renewal.

With its daytime programming scoring ratings not seen in years, CBS has announced that its entire daytime lineup -- composed of Let's Make A Deal, The Price Is Right, The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, and The Talk -- has been renewed for the 2014-2015 season.

"The return of all five of our CBS Daytime shows is a credit to the collaborative spirit of the casts, crews and staff who work tirelessly to make their creative vision come to life," said Angelica McDaniel, Senior Vice President, CBS Daytime. "A special thank you goes out to our loyal fans for watching and for making us #1 in daytime."

The Young and the Restless, which has been the top-rated daytime drama for 25 consecutive years, received a multi-year pick-up through 2017.

On the ratings front, The Bold and the Beautiful is averaging 3.90 million viewers, up a whopping 14% from last season. The Young and the Restless is averaging 5.17 million viewers, which is 9% higher than last season.

The Price is Right remains daytime' most watched program overall.

For the season to date, CBS' daytime lineup is up 14% in viewers, and up by 11% in the Women 18-49 demographic.
