Seven-year-old Max Page (Reed Hellstrom) left a Los Angeles hospital on Monday, following successful heart surgery.

Page was born with a congenital heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot. The condition has four different characteristics: a thickened heart wall, hole(s) in the heart muscle, and issues involving the blood vessels that lead away from the heart. The goal of the procedure Page underwent was to replace a faulty pulmonary valve with a porcine valve. The operation, Page's eighth, took place last Friday at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and lasted approximately two hours.

The replacement valve is expected to last anywhere from 10 to 15 years.

"I'm feeling great," Page told reporters before his release from the hospital. "I do feel a little pain in my chest, but not much."

When asked what he was looking forward to, Page giddily offered a reply typical of many seven-year-old boys.

"Well, I'm excited about a lot of things -- especially having a milkshake," Page stated.

Though daytime fans know Page for his work on The Young and the Restless, the young actor stole the show at last year's Super Bowl. In an ad for Volkswagen's 2012 Passat, Max played the oh-so-adorable boy in the Darth Vader costume who tried -- and failed -- to use "The Force" to start the car. It appeared unsuccessful, until his dad helped him out by using the car's remote ignition.
