Cameo appearances don't get any bigger than this: The Young and the Restless' co-creator, Lee Phillip Bell, will be appearing on daytime's number one soap to help celebrate the show's 11,000th episode.
According to TV Insider, the television pioneer -- who created Y&R with her late husband, Bill Bell, back in 1973 -- will be appearing in a scene at the Genoa City Athletic Club opposite Doug Davidson (Paul Williams) and her real-life daughter, Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair).
"We won't spoil the deets," the outlet writes. "But trust us: It's super charming."
Be sure to tune in to Y&R on Tuesday, September 1, for the very special episode. The episode will also feature Star Trek's Nichelle Nichols in a special role. And for a sneak peek into Y&R's 11,000th episode celebration, check out this brand new cast photo.
