Watch out, ladies of Genoa City, because The Young and the Restless has put out a casting call for a Caucasian man in his mid-30s who seems like he's going to be quite the catch.
Named Dean, the character comes from a wealthy family but has managed to stay humble, ethical, and honest due to having witnessed how greed and ruthless ambition caused the downfall of those around him while he was growing up, Soaps In Depth reports.
As many fans know, casting calls often use names that are not the actual name of the character being cast. You can blame that on fans just being so clever. That said, some fans are now questioning if "Dean" might actually be a covert attempt to recast a role that fans already know.
The lucky man who lands the role is expected to start taping at the end of August and will likely air later this fall.
