Remakes are all the rage in Hollywood these days, and the next fun film getting a modern makeover is the 1980s Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell rom-com Overboard. But what makes this redo extra special is that two The Young and the Restless stars are taking part!
Both Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella Braņa) and Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman) have signed on to the reimagining of the film being directed by Rob Greenberg and Bob Fisher.
The new Overboard is a bit reversed from the original film and stars Anna Faris as a single mother who convinces a wealthy amnesiac man (Eugenio Derbez) who's fallen off a yacht that he is her husband.
Lind will play one of the daughters to Faris' character, while Longoria is set to play a pizza shop boss named Theresa.

The remake of Overboard is scheduled for release on April 20, 2018.
