Now there's even more of The Young and the Restless to love, because the CBS soap has added a new segment: a brief recap of the previous day's show, to be shown at the beginning of each new episode.
The soap's executive producer and head writer, Mal Young, explains that the decision was made with a smooth viewer experience in mind.
"We are always exploring innovative approaches to enrich the viewing experience for our fans," he says of the feature that debuted this week. "Adding the ‘Previously On' segment provides us an opportunity to set the tone for each episode and draw on the rich history of Y&R to connect the dots of the past, present, and future."
