The last six months have been like a blast from the past for The Young and the Restless fans as Phyllis Summers and Christine Blair Williams went to battle over rocker Danny Romalotti. Phyllis pulled every trick in the book to snare Danny as she did once before, but this time, Christine fought back and came out victorious.
Phyllis was still up to her old tricks the night that Danny and Christine made love for the first time in decades. She pulled the fire alarm outside their Genoa City Athletic Club room, but that did not deter them. Christine and Danny even made plans to leave town together. Danny had to go back on tour, and Christine was all set to join him until a client came calling.
It turned out that Christine was not ready to hang up her attorney shingle just yet and told Danny she had changed her mind. She had to take this case and couldn't join him on the road. Danny was devastated, but he understood.
As they said their goodbyes with Danny Romalotti concert tour merch in hand, Lauralee Bell took to Instagram to give fans a little tease. If you think it's over for this retro pair, you might want to think again.
Bell shared a snap of her and Michael Damian on set with Christine in a Danny Romalotti T-shirt. She teased what was to come in the April 18 episode, but the hashtag "#moreinmay" is what really left fans wondering what more might be in store.
Surely Danny isn't going to walk off a big tour and disappoint all those adoring fans, but perhaps Christine's case goes smoother than planned, and she is able to hop the first plane to wherever Danny may be. After all, she didn't fight Phyllis that hard all these years later just to give up Danny that easily. Will Christine and Danny get their happily ever after in May? Time will tell.
