Katie must have magical DNA. She saved her sister Margo with a liver transplant a few years ago, and now she's going to save Johnny with a bone marrow transplant. Craig, the way things are going, you may want to make nice with your little sis, pronto.

It was really about time that Luke and Noah hit the sheets. There has been a lot of talk about whether this event would ever happen, but there wasn't any fanfare to set it up; this was just a natural progression of the story.

Katie and Brad are trying to have a baby. Poor Katie, she's wanted kids for years now, but she just can't seem to keep a husband around long enough to fertilize her stubborn eggs.

Henry might be the only guy in Oakdale who isn't interested in being a daddy. At least he's honest about his feelings; he's not ready for that level of responsibility. He's barely on board for a dog!

Janet was right when she told Jack last week that Parker needs discipline. Parker thinks that he can do whatever he wants to do, without paying the price for his actions.

Note to Jack: when your child misbehaves, you don't send him to boarding school. Obviously, Parker is in need of something, but isolating him from everyone he loves is only going to make the situation worse. Hal is rolling over in his grave right now.

Last week, Parker and Liberty got married, because Parker wanted his trust fund, and he wanted to become emancipated. This storyline shows that Parker is a real teenager who thinks that he knows exactly what he is doing.

Ever since Brad realized that he had a daughter, he's been a very hands-on father, so where is Brad in this whole Parker/Liberty drama? Is it shoddy writing, or are we to assume that Brad is letting Janet handle the marriage mayhem?

Luke continues to be vocal about his likes and dislikes; however, he does have ample reason not to trust his biological father, Damian. Damian never comes to town unless there is something up his sleeve, and it usually involves money.

Parker's lost pretty much everything in his life that he's ever cared about at one time or another, including Jack, his mom, and his dad. It's no wonder that he's holding on with a strangling grip to Liberty.

At times, Luke appears to be a strong person on his own, but then there are times when he is portrayed as a weakling who can't function unless Noah is at his side.

That poor kid is like a ping-pong ball, being shuffled back and forth between Craig and Dusty. How will he turn out as a teenager or young adult? There is no real stability in his life; he lives in a hotel, and doesn't interact with other kids.

Last week, Carly got drunk and got behind the wheel. She was driving drunk, and, for once, the Oakdale Police Department caught someone who was breaking the law. Crazy, right?

Adam's death last week gave Margo and Tom some excellent drama to play, which we haven't seen in a long time, but what a travesty Adam's funeral turned out to be. The fact that Adam's grandparents weren't in attendance was unacceptable.

Dusty sometimes refuses to take no for an answer, but he seems to be seeing Bonnie in a different light these days. Hopefully, he'll finally let Meg go, and abandon the bad guy routine; it was starting to get old and redundant.

Last week, Liberty saw Parker hugging some unknown girl, and she decided that the best thing to do was to hop in bed with some unknown boy...without protection. Later, Liberty learned that the unknown girl was Parker's cousin, who had just lost her father. Oops!

Everyone seems to be using Holden's death to explain their behavior; Luke is jealous of the time that Noah is spending with Mason, so he attacks Noah for not being at Holden's funeral, even though Luke told Noah that it was okay to leave.

James Stenbeck's funeral last week was a hoot. Barbara was in rare form, and she has definitely met her match in Audrey. It is so good to see Barbara front and center, letting folks have it at every turn.

Parker is acting remarkably mature. It would have been easy for him to lose it after he found out that Liberty was stepping out, considering his almost fanatical jealousy a few months ago, but he has been nothing but supportive of her.

Holden has had plenty of chances to escape, but he has never capitalized on any of them. Things look like they are only going to get worse for him, but at least he is no longer chained to a bed.

Why do the writers feel that the best way to use Henry is to put him in crazy situations that are supposed to be funny? Henry has been turned into a buffoon, thanks to his wacky mother.

Last week, Barbara finally got some. Screen time, that is. The fact that she was mattress-thrashing with Henry, though, made the situation resemble a traffic accident; you couldn't look away, but you really wanted to.

Parker has his hands in so much right now. He is taking care of Liberty by being her confidante and friend, he is holding Rosanna and Craig accountable for cheating while his mother is away, and he's basically being more of a man than the actual men in Oakdale.

Let's hope that Brad's shooting was done for some storyline reason to foster fallout for years to come, and that it wasn't just a nonsense killing, because he was a very valuable character.

Jack is trying to keep it together and be strong, but you can see his pain and heartbreak over Brad's shooting. It doesn't help that his wife, the biggest mouth in Oakdale, keeps talking about the fact that he was drinking before the shooting.

Katie is one brave woman. Sure, she took on a gangster, gave birth by herself in a dirty warehouse, and survived the death of her husband, but more importantly, she's been walking around Oakdale for days with no makeup. Now that's brave!

Jack is trying to right a wrong, and we all know that he can't. Killing his brother was a tragic accident that he will have to live with, but his need to do something to help Katie makes perfect sense.

Last week, Brad took over Henry's body, so that he could see Katie. It was hilarious to watch as he tried to pretend that he was Henry, though Brad was the one who was calling the shots.
