Babe told JR, Krystal, Adam, and Colby that she did not want to lie anymore. Babe then asked to speak with JR alone because this was between the two of them. After everyone left, Babe said she had to tell JR the truth. Babe explained she was too busy imagining what there marriage could be like and failed to see what it really was. Babe believed their marriage was broken. JR asked if she was ending their marriage. Then, Winifred brought Little Adam in. They played with their son for a little while. Finally, the boy left and they continued. JR said he understood what was going on and called everyone back in. He announced that the truth needed to be heard by the whole family. Then, JR stated he had been lying about believing Colby. JR admitted that he wanted Josh to go to jail so he would be away from Babe. Colby was upset that JR told her secret. JR stated he wanted to be a respectable man that deserved Babe's love. JR then embraced Babe. Krystal, Adam, and Colby left again. Krystal reprimanded Colby for lying. Colby called Babe a slut and said she was the liar for sleeping with Josh. Adam called Chef Frye to tell him the truth. Colby stormed out. Meanwhile, JR asked Babe to forgive him and to give their marriage another chance. Babe hugged JR and said she loved him and wanted their marriage to work.
Kendall showed Bianca the divorce papers and said Zach did not want her anymore. Bianca was annoyed with Kendall. Bianca said Kendall was the one who served Zach with the papers. Bianca encouraged Kendall to rip up the papers, find Zach, and explain she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. Then, Erica came in. She was happy to see her three children together. Kendall announced her marriage was over and Erica hugged her. Erica and Josh were both happy about the divorce. Bianca still wanted Kendall to fight for her marriage. Kendall then tried to get back to work, but she kept seeing Zach's face. She went up to the roof and screamed out that she would not love or miss Zach anymore. Meanwhile, Erica had invited her children to the New Beginnings Sweeps Party. Josh agreed to go if he could bring a date. Erica thought he should bring Bianca. However, Josh wanted to bring Babe. Erica ignored his request and discussed the party with Bianca. Erica stated that Rosie O'Donnell would be there. Then, Josh got a phone call stating the charges were dropped against him. Josh told Erica and Bianca the good news, but still looked worried. Josh believed Babe might be in danger because she told JR the truth.
Dixie went to the casino to see Zach. Dixie was excited and explained that she met Kate. After hearing the story, Zach was skeptical because David was the one who found Kate. Zach warned her not to trust David or anyone else. Dixie said she trusted Zach, but he told her not to. Dixie realized Zach was upset about Kendall. So, Dixie asserted that she would not give up on Kate or Zach. She chastised Kendall for giving up on Zach. Dixie said she would never judge Zach because she liked him the way he was. Zach explained his heart belonged to only one woman. Dixie called Kendall a fool and went to leave. Zach once again warned her not to get her hopes up about Kate. Dixie said she would not give up and left. Then, Kendall walked in. They both stared at each other and Kendall called out Zach's name.
Annie told Ryan that Emma was not Kate because Emma was her biological daughter. Ryan said he believed her. Ryan then proposed a DNA test to prove this to Tad and Dixie. Annie did not think she should have to take a DNA test because Dixie and Tad were crazy. Ryan said he knew what it was like to have someone try to take your child. Ryan promised to ward off Tad and Dixie for good. Annie was grateful.
David went to Tad's office. David was upset that Tad was not trying to take Emma away from Annie. Tad said he did not fully believe that Emma was Kate. David thought Tad did not want it to be Kate because he could not stand the fact that David found his daughter. David then gloated that he and Dixie would reunite and Kate would be his step daughter. David also informed Tad of Dixie's visit with Kate at the Miranda Center. Tad was angry and grabbed David violently. David pushed him off and said the little girl admitted her daddy was not her real daddy. David then left.
Ryan went to see Tad. Ryan stated that Emma was not Kate. Tad asked how he knew. Ryan said Annie swore Emma was her biological daughter and he believed her. Tad was surprised Ryan would believe Annie on faith alone. Tad assumed that Ryan knew T was not Emma's biological father. Tad asked Ryan what else he was keeping from him. Tad also asked if Annie knew Dr. Madden. Ryan said no. Tad then showed him a copy of Emma's birth records. Dr. Madden was the doctor that supposedly delivered Emma! Ryan looked completely shocked!
Jonathan entered the penthouse and saw Annie. He thought she looked scared. Annie said Ryan was handling everything. Jonathan said Annie could trust Ryan. Annie said she felt like she was still running from her past and Jonathan empathized. Then, there was a knock at the door. It was David! Jonathan wanted to kick him out, but Annie was interested to hear what he had to say. David apologized for Dixie's behavior because it was too much too soon. David said this situation must be hard for Annie now that Tad and Dixie knew the truth. Annie yelled that Emma was her daughter. David then revealed he had a DNA test to prove her wrong. Annie did not believe this because she never authorized a test. Emma then came downstairs looking for Annie. When Emma saw David she asked him for another lollipop. Annie realized Davis was alone with Emma and could have performed the test. David said he would see them soon and left. Annie told Jonathan she was upset that strangers were stalking her daughter and wanted to steal her away. Jonathan said Ryan would help. Annie said Ryan could not fix this and asked for Jonathan's help instead.
Kendall went to see Zach and for the first few moments they gazed into each other's eyes and then Kendall told him she didn't know why she was there. Zach told her that she was there because she belonged with him. Kendall asked Zach how she could belong with him. She said that she wanted no part of his brand of darkness. After telling him his less desirable traits, she then told him that she loved him. She said that she had tried her best to make it go away, but nothing has worked. She was still crazy in love with him. She asked if he still loved her and the kiss said it all. Happily, he scooped her up and carried her to bed. Zach took off his shirt (bless him) and they made love. Afterward, instead of a cigarette, they tore up the divorce papers.
It seemed that Annie took off with Emma and Tad told Ryan that he had now lost another chance to find Kate. Jonathan came in and said if Annie took off they should talk to David. Jonathan asked Ryan if he believed David and she said that he believed that Emma was 100% Annie's. Ryan said that he knew Tad and Dixie and that they were not going to give up on finding Annie and Emma. Ryan left a message for Annie and asked her to call him.
Colby, being her incredibly offensive self, berated a waitress as David showed up. Colby trashed Krystal and told him that Babe was no angel and she wanted them both gone. She told David that she told J.R. about Babe and Josh but he wouldn't believe her. Colby told David that obviously he was not going to help her get rid of the Carey virus and then left. Tad, however showed up and sat down. He told David that he was going to stay away from Dixie, Annie, Emma and basically anyone that he had ever met. David said that his whole plan to reunite Dixie with her daughter went up in smoke the minute Tad stuck his size 17's where they didn't belong.
Babe sang praises to J.R. for what he did. Krystal took Babe in the other room and told her how lucky she was that she didn't have to confess that she did indeed sleep with Josh. J.R., in his blue velvet jacket, answered the door and Josh was there. Unaware that Babe did NOT confess, he asked her if J.R. had hurt her. Babe quickly explained to Josh in front of J.R. and Adam that it was J.R. he had to thank for the rape charges being dropped. On the rooftop of Fusion, Babe found Josh and asked if he was alright. Josh said that he would take whatever he could get of her even if it was just secret meetings. Babe tried to explain that J.R. has made a change and was trying to be a better person but Josh kissed her and said people don't turn around overnight. Josh said he was not going anywhere but Babe said he had to let this go. She said that she loved J.R. and what he was giving her right now was real and beautiful. She said she would not make a fool of him. Josh asked her not to walk away and again they began kissing. Babe said no more and she walked away. Babe went home and told J.R. that she was very happy. Josh on the other hand, was not happy.
Adam told J.R. to go after Josh. J.R. said he would not send Josh to jail for a crime that Colby made up. Derek went to the Chandler mansion and said that Colby was in trouble for making up charges against Josh. J.R. showed him the door and Derek said that from that moment on the Chandler's were on their own.
Erica told Jeff again that Babe was ruining Josh's life. Jeff told her that Babe was a sweet young woman and if Josh wanted to be with her they should let him. Jeff told Erica that Josh asked what he would do if he were in love with a married woman. He said that he told him that if the woman were truly not happy, he would encourage her to leave her husband. Much calmer, Erica left and asked Jeff if he was still planning to take her to the launch. He said he was looking forward to it.
Ryan stops by to see Kendall before heading out for the day. He tells her that she can reach him on his cell phone, and then notes that he wants to say hello to his son. Kendall stops him, saying that she doesn't think it is a good idea, but Ryan doesn't get the hint. She falters in her explanation, but before she can come up with something concrete, Zach reveals himself, and welcomes him to stay for the cup of joe. Passing on the offer, Ryan starts to go but Kendall runs after him, feeling that he is owed an explanation. Ryan rejects her offer, saying that the only thing he needs to know is that she is happy with the decision that she made. Kendall nods slowly, saying that all she had to do was listen to her heart. Ryan reminds her that they will always have their bond as Spike's parents, and wishes her the best. She goes back inside and Ryan starts to take his leave, but Zach appears in the courtyard and tells Ryan that they have more business to discuss. Ryan feels that they have nothing to talk about, now that his role in getting Zach acquitted of had concluded. Zach tells him that he will be running into Ryan a lot more and wants to know if Ryan is okay with that. Ryan thinks that Zach is trying to tell him to stay away from Kendall and refuses to be a party to Zach's controlling ways. Zach, slightly amused, admits that what he is trying to do is apologize. He says that during the trial, he didn't care what happened because he believed that he had lost Kendall. As a blamer, he had to make someone the scapegoat and he picked Ryan. He thought that Ryan would immediately swoop in to be Kendall's superhero, but realized soon after that Ryan kept his promise – and his apology is for misjudging him. He admits that he would never be the good guy that Ryan is, but he will try his best to be a good stepdad to Spike. He then informs Ryan about Dixie's belief that her daughter was in Pine Valley. Ryan acknowledges that he is aware, and as Kendall listens in, notes aloud that he thinks Zach shouldn't worry about Dixie, and should just concentrate on his marriage. Zach seems reluctant to let it go, but Ryan suggests that if Zach can focus on Kendall, Ryan can watch out for Annie's best interest and Tad can take care of all things related to Kate and the details of her whereabouts. He reminds Zach that he and Dixie did enough damage to his marriage, and asks if he is trying to end it for good. He assures Ryan that Dixie was never a threat to Kendall and Ryan responds by telling him that if Kendall perceives something as a threat, nothing else matters. He then says that Dixie has enough people to help her find Kate and that Zach's best bet would be to move on. He walks away, and Zach calls out to see if Kendall heard everything. She meekly appears from behind the door, says that she didn't hear Zach say that he would stay away from Dixie forever – and asks if he would. When he hesitates, she starts to walk away. He catches her arm and tells her that before and during the trial, he was afraid of losing her and says that now that they have put it all behind them, she is and always will be the only one for him. He then seals his promise with a kiss.
Bianca shows up in a hallway at the Valley Inn and overhears her mother's expressed gratitude to Jeff for the wonderful time they shared the previous night. Erica realizes how the situation looks but can't get a word in edgewise before her youngest daughter begins to freak out. She demands an explanation for why Erica would risk not only her marriage but her reputation to shack up with a former husband, but Erica points out that she can't explain if Bianca won't stop talking. Bianca quips that she inherited the trait honestly and tries to rein her temperament in until her request can be addressed. Erica denies that anything happened and states that Bianca wasted a lot of energy getting upset over nothing. Bianca then asks if Jack knows about her current living arrangement, and isn't surprised when Erica says that she may have neglected to tell him. Erica then says that Jeff moved to the Valley Inn after she did in an attempt to be closer to his son. She goes on to say that last night was about Jeff convincing her not to interfere in Josh's life. Bianca disbelievingly notes that his efforts couldn't have taken all night. She then notices her mother's blushing and says that even though something might not have happened, she believes that her mother wishes otherwise. Erica is insulted, saying that she only moved into the hotel because she needed peace and quiet to work on New Beginnings and the launch party. Bianca rejects the explanation, saying that she has seen her mother at her best, and a little teenage distraction normally wouldn't have stopped her from getting her work done. She reminds her mother that Jack is not her first husband, and that cheating with the man who was, especially since he is staying directly across the hall, is not outside the realm of possibility. Erica thinks that all of Bianca's time in Paris makes her look for affairs everywhere. She then asks for the real reason behind Bianca's sudden arrival, and if Maggie knows and approves. Bianca assures her that Maggie knows, and that she didn't come along because of her busy schedule. Erica thinks that she, like her mother, needed time away from home but Bianca insists that she wanted to come and get to know Josh as well as visit with the family she knew and missed. She then notes that if her mother doesn't want her there, she and Miranda could go back home. Erica fairly demands that she stay, saying that Kendall needs her help now more than ever.
Jamie arrives at the beach and starts to strip moments before spying a set of car keys discarded in the sand. He bends down to pick them up, and looks up seconds later to find a scantily clad Julia recently emerged from the water. Because her presence was more spontaneous than planned, Jamie loans her a towel so that she can dry off. She tosses it back to him when she is done, and notices the pensive look on his face. After asking about what is going on in his head, he tells her that he was thinking about how their relationship started right where they are standing. Then, uncomfortable, they move away from that sensitive topic and touch base about the trial as well as his departure from medical school. Julia tells him that the hospital isn't the same without him, and then suddenly says that when she told him that they should end their relationship – she didn't think she was clear. She haltingly tries to explain that she never stopped liking him, but Jamie doesn't get it, and says that she was clear the first time and shouldn't put herself through the torture of talking about it again. Julia starts to go on, but is interrupted by a woman squealing Jamie's name. The woman rushes over and they share a brief kiss on the lips, much to Julia's dismay. Jamie then introduces Julia to Linda, who immediately says that although she admires people that can work at the hospital, she is very glad that Jamie is no longer one of those people. He interrupts and asks if she wants to take a swim, but she refuses unless it's in some sort of a heated pool. She suggests that they go back to her place instead and build a fire. Jamie agrees and they start to take their leave. Julia turns her back and looks at the water, missing Jamie's pause and longing look back before he actually goes.
David arrives on the rooftop of Fusion to find Josh sleeping in a lawn chair. He taps the unconscious doctor on the head to rouse him and asks if his sleeping arrangements were comfortable. Irritated, Josh ignores the inquiry – instead asking how someone with no soul could let his daughter marry JR. David makes some flippant commentary and Josh thinks that he doesn't care enough about his daughter to try to make a difference. David admits that he tried to break up his daughter's marriage, going even so far as to seek help from Krystal, but all of it was to no avail. He then reveals that his desire to see the marriage end is the reason why he sought out Josh. As Babe's champion, David believes that Josh has what it takes to drive a permanent wedge between the couple. When he doesn't get a response, David assumes that Josh believes in easier to lie around wallowing in self-pity instead of going after the woman he loves. He tells Josh that the man he sees before him is not the man that he observed at the hospital and around town. That man, who conquered several careers and always worked hard to get what he wanted, wouldn't sit back while JR made off with Babe. Josh protests, saying that he has to abide by Babe's choices. Enraged, David tells him that if he loved a woman as much as Josh clearly loves Babe, and if he had a chance to blow a marriage out of the water, he wouldn't hesitate. Josh asks why David thinks that he would be successful in blowing up the younger Chandler's marriage, and after a long drawn out spiel, David lets on that he knows Josh has the ammunition. Josh admits that if he used it, Babe would never forgive him. David tries to egg him on but Josh sticks to his guns and demands that David stop antagonizing him before he takes his leave.
Babe finds her husband in the living room, setting up toy blocks and knocking them down with their son. JR begs her not to go to work, insisting that they could go back to France, take Little A and stay as long as they like. Although amused, Babe doesn't cave to his wishes, instead rewarding him with a kiss. Adam and Krystal walk in on their tender moment, and Adam encourages the behaviour, saying that Little Adam needs s sibling. Then, everyone joins in throwing the blocks around until the JR reminds his fellow men that they need to keep up their strength, and that Lucretia made them French toast. After they make their way out of the room, Babe confirms that she ended things with Josh because she really wants her marriage to work. She mentions how grateful she is that JR saved Josh from Colby's lies, and Krystal tells her that she thinks that it is all due to Babe's good influence. Babe verbalizes her renewed love for her husband, and her hope that JR will continue to get closer to the good guy she believes him to be.
A short time later, Adam and his son chat alone in the living room. Adam notes that he still thinks JR should have gone with Colby's lie to get rid of Josh permanently. JR rejects that as an option once again, knowing by now that he made the correct decision. Adam suggests that his son lock in his success by getting Babe pregnant. JR thinks his father is crazy, but Adam thinks that between her husband, her son and a baby on the way, Babe wouldn't give Josh another thought.
At Fusion, Babe enters the main working area to find Josh there, boring holes into her with his eyes. Before they can exchange words, Simone shows up and verbally pats herself on the back over hiring someone who shows up early for work. She immediately launches into details about someone she needs Josh to work on, but he tells her that he changed his mind and won't continue to work at Fusion. Simone refuses to believe it, thinking that his hesitation has to do with the work. When he leaves anyway, unwilling to reconsider, Simone realizes the truth and asks Babe what she did to make Josh walk away. Babe refuses to take the blame, saying that if Simone wants Josh on board at the company, she needs to make him an offer that he can't refuse. Simone tells her that everyone can see the effect they have on each other every time they are in a room together, and that Babe should use that power to get him to come back. Babe replies that everyone should keep their opinions to themselves. Not satisfied, Simone suggests that perhaps one of them should sleep with Josh as incentive, and Babe tells her that since she is also a partner and came up with the idea, she should feel free to take it for the team. Simone finally leaves her alone, and Babe is engrossed in her own thoughts when Bianca arrives at the office. Babe looks up and instantly expresses joy at her presence. She then tells Bianca that her sister isn't in and finds out that Bianca actually came to see Babe – to find out what is going on between her and Josh.
David shows up at the Chandler mansion and starts fishing for the truth with his daughter's mother. He mentions the affair between Josh and Babe loudly, causing a whole body flinch from Krystal right before she shuts the door between the living room and the foyer. She asks if Josh confirmed it, but David said that his body language every time he spoke about Babe was more than enough. In addition, he reveals that Colby told him all about the affair the night before in tones loud enough to be heard in Llanview. Krystal blows off Colby's admission as jealousy, but David notes that since Krystal hasn't bothered to deny it, the story must be true. Through clenched teeth, Krystal denies the affair but David doesn't believe her, thinking that she wouldn't get so worked up if it weren't true. Krystal demands that he leave since he is bringing nothing good to the house, but David insists on seeing his daughter first. Krystal tells him that Babe isn't home and David tries to leave word that his daughter can call him whenever she needs him. Krystal assuredly announces that Babe would never need him, and opens the door to help escort him out. Adam reappears just then and backs up Krystal's request, noting that he would not put up with David upsetting Krystal in her condition. Realization dawning, David jokingly asks who the father is. Adam claims rights as the father, and Krystal continues to try to get her one-night stand out of the door. JR appears from the shadows, tells David that Babe is at Fusion and reissues the demand that he leaves. Unable to help himself, David suggests that leaving Babe alone at Fusion might not be the best idea before scurrying off to find her. Adam and Krystal quickly take their leave when the door finally closes, leaving JR to ponder the weight of David's last words. A short time later, there is a knock at the door, and when JR answers, he finds David on the other side again. David tells him that there is one more thing he forgot to say.
Erica and Bianca exit the hotel room and the diva herself apologizes that things got off on the wrong foot. Before Bianca can reply, Josh rounds the corner and is disappointed in what he sees. Erica asks if Josh went to see JR and if so, if he is okay. Completely closing off, Josh informs her that she has no right to his life or anything that goes on in it. He continues by saying that it was bad enough when Daddy Jeff moved in, and that having Mommy Erica there would make things unbearable. Before he walks away, he notes that on top of everything else, he now needs to find another place to live. Slightly taken aback, Bianca remarks that it's clear he won't be joining them at the party.
In his office, Ryan gazes at a picture of Kendall and Spike, and mentally revisits when they first brought Spike home and his commentary that knee-deep in parenthood is where he is meant to be. His reverie is interrupted when the phone rings, and when he answers, the other person confirms that the person in question was indeed Annie McDermott.
As she sits forlornly on the beach, Julia is surprised by the sudden appearance of a jacket draped over her shoulders. Thinking Jamie had returned, she starts to admit that she imagined he had returned but never dreamed he would. She then looks up and to her surprise, finds that it is Josh that loaned her the jacket.
David informed JR that Colby said his marriage was not doing well. JR said Babe was very happy. David asked if she was happy when she was with him or with Josh. JR said he would not let David stir up trouble. David believed JR should be grateful since he found Kate. JR was confused and David filled him in. JR chastised David for feeding Dixie more lies. David stated Dixie believed him. David also told JR to go to hell and then left.
Di walked into Aidan and Tad's office. Then, Tad asked for Di's help. Di was unreceptive because of how Tad acted during the trial. Tad explained that Annie might have Kate. Di was shocked and said it was impossible. Aidan and Tad proceeded to ask questions about Annie's pregnancy. Di did not know anything because she reconnected with Annie a few months after Emma was born. Then, they showed Di the birth certificate with Dr. Madden's name on it. Di finally remembered Annie saying that T was not Emma's biological father. Tad got upset and announced that David got the best of him. Tad believed he was on a wild goose chase and would never find his daughter. Di saw Tad was very distraught and left. Aidan consoled Tad and declared they would find Kate no matter what. Then, JR and Jamie came in. JR yelled at Tad for letting Dixie believe David's lies. JR also chastised Tad for his behavior towards Dixie during the trial. Jamie then explained that Tad was the reason Dixie was set free. JR apologized and asked if they knew who the real killer was. Tad and Aidan avoided the question by leaving. JR looked enlightened and asked Jamie if the killer was who he thought it was. Jamie said yes. Then, they both promised to watch out for Tad.
Adam brought Krystal into the hospital in a wheelchair. Krystal thought he was being overprotective because she was just having a test done. Still, Adam did not care and wanted to take every precaution. Krystal then announced she did not want the test. Adam was confused. Krystal explained the doctor recommended the test because she was over 35. Krystal continued that she wanted the baby regardless of the risks and regardless of any problems. Krystal asked if Adam could love their baby, even if it was not perfect. Adam did not answer and walked away. A while later, Adam returned and gave Krystal a stuffed animal. He explained that he needed a minute to respond. Adam then told Krystal that he was embarrassed by Stuart when they were younger. Adam further stated that he grew to understand that Stuart was special and the world was a better place because of it. Adam declared he would love their child no matter what. They hugged and Adam left again to find the doctor. David then approached Krystal. He asked if Tad was happy about the baby. Krystal looked nervous and said Tad did not know she was pregnant. When Adam returned, he yelled for David to leave Krystal alone. The doctor then came and Krystal said she would not take the test. The doctor advised she take it because there were conditions they could prevent and treat before the baby was born. So, Krystal agreed to take the test. Meanwhile, Tad came to the hospital to see David. He asked if David had any more of Emma's DNA. David said he used it all for the test. Tad was aggravated and went to leave, but David stopped him. David said Krystal was in the hospital. Tad looked concerned. David proceeded to announce Krystal's pregnancy. Tad looked stunned!
Bianca told Babe she knew the truth about her relationship with Josh. Bianca proceeded to ask if Babe was screwing over Josh, JR, or both. Babe stated the charges against Josh were dropped and everything was fine. Bianca asked if the affair was over and Babe said she ended it. Babe further explained that she and Josh were friends at first and the affair just happened. Babe said they were both in situations where they needed a confidant and found each other. Still, Babe admitted she messed up by sleeping with Josh. Bianca said Josh really loved Babe. Babe then said many kind things about Josh and Bianca realized she loved him as well. Regardless, Babe said she loved JR and wanted to make their marriage work. Babe also said she could not wreck JR's life by leaving him for another man. Bianca asked if this might wreck Josh's life. Babe asserted that Josh would be fine because he was a very strong person. Bianca was intrigued and wanted to know more about her brother. So, Babe detailed all of her experiences with Josh. Babe also urged Bianca to stay in town because Josh would need someone caring and understanding in his life.
Julia was curious about why Josh approached her on the beach. Then, Josh kissed Julia! And, neither of them realized Jamie was there. However, when Jamie saw the kiss, he immediately left. Meanwhile, Julia was stunned and appalled by the kiss. Josh announced it was foolish to play nice when love was involved. He also said love was for losers. Julia asserted she would not take love lessons from Josh. Then, she realized Josh was in love. Julia joked about Josh having a heart after all and asked who the girl was. Josh told Julia to shut up and declared his love affair was over. Julia did not believe it was over for Josh. Josh did not believe Julia was over Jamie either. Julia stated she broke up with Jamie. Regardless, Josh saw how unhappy she looked after seeing Jamie with the new blonde. Josh then said that even though the blonde was more age appropriate, she could not rock Jamie's world like Julia. Julia smiled and empathized with Josh's broken heart.
Erica walks into Kendall's house, but is not pleased to find Zach holding Spike. Erica calls 911, but Zach hangs up the telephone. Zach tells Erica that he and Kendall have reconciled and they are still married. Erica refuses to believe Zach, who claims he loves Kendall more than anything else. Erica says Zach's way of loving Kendall has only hurt her. Zach says he makes Kendall happy, but she does not buy it. Police show up at the house to follow-up on Erica's call, but Erica says it was just a misunderstanding and the officer leaves. Erica gives Spike a stuffed animal and leaves the house.
When Kendall walks in Fusion, Babe tells Kendall that she has ended her relationship with Josh and Colby has cleared his name. Kendall tells Babe that Josh loves Babe and would be a better match for her than Jr. Kendall thinks Babe told JR the truth about her affair with Josh, but Babe claims she is never telling her husband the truth. Kendall tries to point out the drastic differences between JR and Zach, but stops when she realizes that she has put herself in a similar situation with Zach and Ryan. Kendall tells Babe that she has gotten back together with Zach. Kendall says she does not regret being with Zach and Babe is confident she has made the right choice by keeping her marriage together with JR. Simone walks in, still upset that Josh quit because of his fall-out with Babe. Kendall tells Babe that if she had not gotten involved with Josh, he would still be at Fusion.
Bianca goes to see Josh, who is busy hatching plans to destroy the Chandlers. Josh says he has inherited a boatload of money from Greg's estate. He thinks he can destroy the Chandlers by using his marketing and financial skills to bring down Chandler Enterprises. Bianca says she is sorry things did not work out with the Babe the way he wanted. Bianca adds that if he destroys JR, it will also destroy Babe. Josh shows Bianca piles of letters he has received from Greg's patients offering their sympathy. Josh thinks it would be best to tell the patients that their children are all probably fathered by Greg. Bianca says it is not right for Josh to take his anger out on Greg's patients. Bianca tells Josh that if the patients find out the truth, they should find out through some other medical facility. Josh decided to donate Greg's inheritance money to the Miranda Center.
Tad is surprised when David tells him Krystal is pregnant. David gloats that he owes Tad for finding Kate, but Tad disagrees. David tells Tad that he finally gets a chance to suffer as much as he did when Joe did not save Leora's life. David claims Tad will never get the chance to be with his daughter, like the way Leora was taken from him. In another wing of the hospital, Adam and Krystal get a chance to see the first picture of their baby on a sonogram. After Krystal's test, Adam and Krystal run into Tad, who congratulates them on the new baby. Krystal shows Tad the sonogram and Adam takes her to her hospital room. Julia walks in and Tad asks her to look up the results of Emma's paternity that David took. Julia says that the test shows Emma shares Tad's DNA. Julia says there is a chance that David might not have used Emma's DNA, so the best option is to perform another test using Dixie's DNA too.
Adam looks after Krystal in the hospital room. Krystal tells Adam that she has thought of a name for their baby girl – Charlotte. Krystal said Stuart told her stories about how he and Adam loved their sister, Charlotte. Adam goes to get some cheesy fries from BJ's for Krystal. She looks at the picture of the sonogram as Tad walks in and asks if he is the father of her baby.
David runs into one of the nurses who took an extra shift for another doctor. He offers to take Krystal's test results to the lab.
Jonathan and Annie discuss Annie and Emma skipping town, but Ryan walks in after his security guards tracked them to the cabin where Jonathan shot Terry. Ryan tells Annie that no matter how far she runs, Tad will track her down until he gets answers. Ryan asks Annie why she feels she has to run away if Emma is her biological child. Jonathan sticks up for Annie, telling Ryan he has no right to tell her what to do. Annie leaves the room to give Ryan and Jonathan some time alone. Jonathan says that Annie is a good mom and he will do anything to protect her. Ryan asks Jonathan to trust him and that nothing will happen to Annie or Emma. Jonathan shakes his head in agreement. Ryan talks to Annie alone, hoping she will tell him why she is leaving. Annie claims that she is only trying to protect Emma. Ryan knows Annie is keeping secrets from him, so he asks her why Greg's name is on Emma's birth certificate. Annie says Greg simply delivered Emma, but because of Greg's past mistakes, everyone will assume otherwise. Annie says there were other people in the room who helped with the delivery. Ryan suggests Annie run a DNA test, but she refuses because her DNA will not match Emma's.
