Carly, Carly, Carly. Drugging a teenager? Really? That's something I never thought she'd do. Carly has sunk to a new low. I used to be able to tell the good guys from the bad guys on this show, but not anymore. It seems more often than not, characters are giving in to their weaknesses, which makes for good drama. Carly is scheming like Barbara and Craig. Paul is manipulating so many people that he could teach James a thing or two. Emily is a cheater. And the list goes on.
Desperation drives people to do crazy things. And while I understand Carly's need to protect her sister's baby, this latest attempt to get custody is just unforgivable, especially since she used my sweet Nancy as an unknowing accomplice. Shame on Carly, especially if she stole the baby, during Gwen's drugged stupor. Carly knows the trauma that can cause, since a similar incident scarred her for life.
There is something such as karma. And while I'm usually rooting for our morally challenged heroine Carly, I'm not this time. Hopefully, Jack (I know, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt) or Gwen will figure out Carly's entrapment plan and give her what she has coming.
Meanwhile:
--Just imagine when true-blue policeman Hal finds out his money is being used to buy drugs. I can't wait for that scene. Do you think he'll collect $500 and send Jen directly to jail or rehab?
--I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I don't want to be in the air when Keith is at the helm of a plane. I have great concerns about his piloting skills. Don't pilots have to do pre-flight checks on planes before taking off? The fact that a stowaway passenger and a loose bottle of booze were in the cabin is adding credence to the fact that Keith needs a safety refresher course. Meanwhile, I hope Lucinda is packing a parachute.
--I'll give it to Luke. He knows how to party. Even during my college years, I never passed out and woke up in Mexico. Kudos to "ATWT" for showing how some teens rebel when they feel let down by those they love. After suffering another disappointment, Luke turned to chemicals, not a warm, fuzzy talk at the Snyder barn to help assuage his pain. If he makes it back from this, boy, are his parents going to be ticked. He is so grounded. (Pun intended.)
--Dusty should give lessons in arrogance. He bullies the women he sleeps with. I remember how horribly he treated Molly. And now it seems Meg is next in line for his verbal vomit. Do you think he will ever meet a lady who won't put up with his attitude? Hmm, I think Carly might be the only woman in town tough enough to handle him and his over-inflated ego.
--I'm betting that what happens down in Mexico, won't stay in Mexico. Keith is so busted for his organ trafficking and Lucinda for her alternative treatments. Lily is determined to get to the bottom of the deception. Thus, Keith may have to come clean and explain why he agreed to fly Lucinda south of the border. And why he hasn't brought back any tequila on these frequent trips.
--Paul is one cold guy. How he could manipulate Will, Gwen and Jennifer and tell himself he's doing the right thing? It's evident that Paul will be taking over the villain void left by Craig. It's a role Roger Howarth is already familiar with from his ABC days.
--File a missing persons report. Jessica and Ben haven't been seen in weeks. Maybe they're hanging out with Curtis.
Best Line of the Week:
(Holden tries repeatedly to get Lucinda to tell the truth about her trip.)
Lucinda: "Bullying does not become you."
Holden: "Says the woman who practically invented it."

"Referring to this from your scoop about last week's ATWT: ‘I've said it before, but I can't watch a scene between Holden and Meg without thinking they're about to make out.'
I laughed so hard when I read this. I thought I was the only one that felt those two had sort of a flirty vibe going on! It makes it kind of weird when I watch them together. I have to keep reminding myself they are supposed to be related. Ewww."
(From Two Scoops reader Diane.)
"Love your column! Has anyone mentioned that maybe Gwen is Iris' daughter? She's always talking about her drunk mother. Maybe Iris and Carly's dad had another child."
(From two Scoops Reader Jeanie.)
"Regarding your remark on (last week's) Two Scoops abut where Carly and Jack would have been able to get $10,000, you forgot that her sister Rosanna gave her a check for any amount she needed some time ago. I believe that was when Jack had that accident and went missing. I love your Two Scoops!"
That's all for now Scoopers! See ya next time.
