Born in Perth, Australia, Manera graduated from the University of Western Australia where he majored in Political Science, Industrial Relations and European Studies. Manera had a role in 2007's Suburban Girl with Alec Baldwin and Sarah Michelle Gellar and the 2008 thriller Crush.
In his spare time, Manera enjoys visiting museums, going to horse races, watching sports, and attending concerts or the theater. He also enjoys assisting with his father's antiques business, which affords him the opportunity to travel across Europe. While he used to play rugby and row in crew, Manera now keeps himself in shape by boxing.
