At the farmhouse, Tammy and JB began a heavy make-out session. She assured him she was ready but asked if he had any protection. JB responded he wasn't planning on having a family anytime soon. Tammy was reluctant until he produced a pack of condoms. Before they could go any further, Reva and Sandy arrived to check on Tammy, concerned she was upset about Dinah's release.
JB hid as Tammy answered the door. Reva commented that Tammy looked flushed and asked what was up with the candles and soft music. Tammy said she had been trying to relax. JB sneered outside and wrote "Hi Mom" in the dust on the window. Reva and Sandy invited Tammy to go back to Reva's with them. Tammy declined, saying she wanted to be alone to think.
Sandy and Reva left. Tammy dialed Joey's phone number and discovered it had been disconnected. JB knocked on the door, ready to pick up where they'd left off. Tammy told him she had only been kidding herself -- she was not ready. He said he could wait for as long as she needed. Tammy, relieved, went to put back on the music. When she walked away, JB said, "Yeah, little cousin, I can wait."
On a tip from a patrolling officer, Edmund and Jeffrey raced to where they thought Dinah was holding Cassie captive. Meanwhile, Cassie was threatening Dinah at gunpoint. Dinah taunted her, saying she would never be able to pull the trigger, "You don't have it in you." Dinah managed to wrestle the gun from Cassie and pointed it at her, screaming, "How does it feel?" Cassie managed to regain control of the gun, telling Dinah she couldn't win because she didn't have kids to fight for. Cassie fired the gun.
Edmund and Jeffrey arrived in the clearing just as Cassie was commenting what a great shot she was to an unhurt Dinah. Edmund begged Cassie to put the gun down, while Jeffrey told her to shoot Dinah, "Do it! Do it right now! Just shoot her. I'm the D.A. You won't do any jail time -- I promise. Shoot her now!" Dinah screamed at Jeffrey to shut up. Cassie appeared confused, regained her senses, and lowered the gun. Edmund comforted her and told her she had done the right thing. Dinah mused to Jeffrey that she seemed to draw out the worst in people, even him, based on his little performance.
Outside at Company, Harley and Bill welcomed Olivia home from Denmark, where Phillip had tried to have her detained on a false customs violation. Harley pointed out the door where Phillip had put chains and a "Condemned Property" sign. Buzz and Coop arrived with Zack. Coop, seeing the chains, announced he would create another entrance. He picked up a brick, broke a window, and unlocked the door.
Once inside, Buzz began preparing lunch for everyone. Olivia asked how Harley had managed to get her cleared at Customs. Before she could tell about Ruth Karloff, Bill interrupted, saying Harley had been brushing up on her detective skills. When Olivia left the table, Harley accused Bill of not trusting Olivia -- even though he was sleeping with her.
Outside, Lizzie approached Coop as he was cleaning up the glass. She was looking for Tammy. He made it clear that she -- or any other Spaulding -- was not welcome on the property. He told her to leave. She refused, saying her father's business decisions had nothing to do with her.
Later, Bill and Olivia celebrated her work overseas by making love.
Dinah invited Jeffrey to Towers, and when he arrived, she assured him that she was moving on with her life. When she dug into him about not doing the same thing and moving on from Cassie, Ross overheard, and Jeffrey had to cover. He told Ross he had stopped by to deliver a warning to Dinah to stay away from Cassie. When Jeffrey left, Ross warned Dinah to stay away from Jeffrey and asked if there was anyone else she cared about. Dinah said there was, and later on, she showed up at Edmund's door.
Blake was anxiously awaiting Roger's arrival, hopeful that he'd do something about Dinah. A mysterious stranger arrived, and later, when Blake was alone, the stranger called her Chrissy. She turned, expecting to see Roger, but it was not him. It was Sebastian, who told her that her father was dead. Blake was devastated but kept the news from Ross. He urged Blake to call Holly so they could carry out Roger's last wishes.
Phillip realized that someone was leaking information to the press and accused Gus. Gus denied it, but later, Beth found out that he was the source of the leak. She decided to tell Phillip, but when she saw him, it was clear to her that he was out of control, and she decided to help Gus. Together, they figured out a plan to save Company by claiming it was in the migration path of an endangered bird. Meanwhile, Marina took Zach to see Phillip, but Zach didn't want to see his dad. Later, Phillip learned about the environmental problems and was furious because he believed the Coopers were poisoning Zach's mind against him. He called Ross and said he needed to discuss his and Harley's divorce settlement.
Tammy and JB were still close the next morning, despite the fact that she had said she wanted to wait before having sex. As they kissed, JB continued to menacingly look over Tammy's shoulder at the picture of Reva. Reva showed up at the farmhouse and met JB, who acted rude, cocky, and confrontational. Later, Reva told Tammy her new friend was rotten to the core as JB listened in, hidden.
When Blake could not believe Roger was dead, Sebastian tried to identify with her grief. Holly returned, asking why they should believe that man who claimed Roger was gone. She swore Roger was somewhere behind a curtain. Sebastian described Roger's long illness. He told Blake and Holly how much Roger had wanted them there by his side when he'd died. He gave them proof, showing Roger had passed away of natural causes. Holly wasn't buying any of it.
Sebastian read Roger's letter. It expressed sorrow for the things he had done to Holly and Chrissy. His letter also declared his deep and undying love for Blake -- and Holly. Sebastian said Roger wanted his ashes spread over the highest point of Springfield. Holly struggled with whether or not to believe Roger's demise. Sebastian also declared his love for Roger -- and then claimed he was Roger's son. Holly embraced him, slyly removing a single hair from his jacket.
Ross tried to advise Phillip against destroying Company. Alan arrived to say to Ross that if he could keep a murderer out of jail, surely he could help Phillip. Ross wouldn't take orders from Alan. Demanding to reopen the custody case, Phillip accused Harley of turning Zack against him. Although he did not want full custody, he had a reason for what he was doing.
Alan and Phillip ganged up on Ross for protecting Dinah, while he countered about how they hadn't thrown Lizzie to the wolves when she had been in legal trouble. Blake phoned Ross, and they all learned of Roger's death. Holly told Ross that Blake and she needed to be alone. Alan suggested phoning his sister Amanda, who was Roger's widow. He pulled out celebratory cigars. Alan mused on Blake's misfortune in being Roger's daughter. Ross compared Phillip's behavior to Roger's past actions.
As Sebastian read Roger's favorite poem, Blake and Holly scattered his ashes from the top of Towers. Some ashes fell into Alan's eye. The influence of Roger's ghost was that Alan expressed glory at outliving his worst enemy. Phillip said he finally understood Roger a little better. Alan and Phillip decided to pay their respects to Blake and Holly. Alan said everyone had something to answer for when the final tally was done.
When Cassie went out of town, Dinah arrived to see Edmund. She thanked him for sparing her life when Cassie had held her at gunpoint. She would like to take something good from all of it -- Edmund. He rejected her advances. Dinah sang his praises. Apparently she had fallen for him. Edmund threatened to blackmail her. Dinah swore on her honesty and compared their dark sides. He slammed the door in her face. She once again got Edmund's attention. He agreed they would both do what they had to do to protect them. Dinah began to throw the subject of the fire in Edmund's face.
Ross asked Alan and Phillip to behave for Blake's sake. Blake said Sebastian had Roger's intensity. He said he had to do what Roger had not finished. The elevator carrying Ross, Alan, and Phillip suddenly stopped. Ross reminded Alan and Phillip of their claustrophobia.
Edmund told Dinah they would take the road not taken. He demanded she stay away from Cassie and his family. Dinah was relentless on her fixation with Edmund, much like she had been with Hart.
Sebastian phoned Michelle. He asked her about the lighthouse and wanted to meet her. Stuck in the elevator, Ross, Alan, and Phillip wondered what to do. Alan worried they would die. The doors suddenly opened. Ross consoled Blake. Alan sat down to Roger's urn. Phillip received an envelope. Holly tried to imagine a world without Roger. In 1994, Roger spoke about forgiveness as Holly looked on. Sebastian reminded her that Roger was not dead, just away.
Phillip thanked Gus for obtaining the injunction to save Company and announced he would no longer pursue it. He declared it all had to end. Later, Phillip told Zack how much he loved him. Phillip said he had to go to Harley's. During dinner with Zack, Phillip said Harley would know he had been there.
Sandy received another email from JB. Someone unknown called Reva and set up a meeting for a story. Sandy advised her not to go. Reva refused to let him accompany her to the interview. She told Sandy about JB and his dark vibes. Reva expressed her worry for Tammy. When Reva took a call from Billy, Sandy called Tammy. She was out with a friend but wouldn't say who. Sandy demanded to know who she was with. He figured out where they were. Reva noticed Sandy leaving in a rush. She followed him.
Buzz prepared to say goodbye to Company. Harley asked why he was ready to just pack it in. They toasted a farewell to Company. Alone, Harley held Ruth's wig. Outside, Gus arrived and told Buzz that Phillip had backed down. The Blue Nesting Warbler had saved Company. Buzz wanted to put bird feeders out for the birds. Harley found out Gus had saved Company. Gus left. Sandy stopped by to ask if they had seen Tammy. Harley received a strange phone call and had to go home. She found her house completely destroyed.
JB told Tammy he would make sure Reva never got between them again. She said she felt close to him. He kissed her. Tammy changed her mind and had a drink. JB introduced her to some of his rowdy friends. One of them grabbed her, but JB intervened. JB and Tammy danced. The guys joined in. JB suddenly left with a bag. The guys sandwiched Tammy between them, and she tried to get away. Outside, Sandy found out JB had been there. He went in after Tammy. She got away from the others and ran out. Reva entered. As Sandy went back out to find Tammy, a motorcycle zoomed in her direction.
Sebastian told Michelle and Danny he had known Maureen. Michelle did not remember her. Sebastian would like to restore the lighthouse. As Danny left and Michelle was on the phone negotiating a high-priced expense for the lighthouse construction, Sebastian took a look around the place. He offered Michelle cash for the sale of the lighthouse.
Sebastian promised to do the lighthouse to Michelle's plan and to name it Michelle's. She refused, stating it was her dream. Sebastian said he was available if she ever wanted to talk about Maureen. Danny tried to warn Michelle to be careful about Sebastian. Danny got a call for a job interview in New York. Sebastian told someone Danny was on his way to New York, and Michelle was all alone.
Harley was standing in the rubble of her home, in shock. She became frantic about the boys, but Buzz reassured her that neither of them had been at the house. He tried to calm her by saying that everyone was fine; it was just a house. Harley realized that Phillip had done it. Just then, Phillip called Harley's cell phone. She told him that she despised him and that he'd pay big. Phillip informed her that what he had done had been legal. She could ask Gus; since he was the head of Spaulding's legal department, he'd know.
After the call, Gus walked in, and Harley punched him hard in the stomach. She railed at him about what he'd let Phillip do. Gus tried to convince her that he had known nothing. He asked if she would actually believe Phillip's word. Harley didn't believe him. Gus couldn't believe that she'd actually think that he would go and destroy her house. He got upset because he'd been trying to help her for months, and she turned her back on him. He finally told her he was sick of it; she was on her own.
Harley and Buzz then left for Company. Harley was ranting that she wanted to kill Phillip. She wanted him dead. Her words concerned Buzz, and he asked if she was unarmed. When she assured him that she was, Buzz told her that she couldn't go and do something that would give Phillip leverage in a custody suit for Zach. He told her she had to play it smart, and Phillip wouldn't know what had hit him. He then went to make her dinner. When he returned, she was gone, but a glass case was left behind.
Outside of a bar, Tammy saw a car going right for her. Suddenly, Sandy pushed her out of the way. Although he initially seemed all right, it soon became apparent that he'd been hit. Just then, Reva happened by, and she called 9-1-1 to get Sandy to a hospital. On the way, Tammy called Edmund.
Edmund was outside Company with RJ when Dinah walked by. Dinah gave RJ a toy. Edmund clearly wasn't happy seeing Dinah and told RJ that it was a goodbye gift, since he'd never see her again. When RJ asked if she was going away, Edmund said she was not, but she'd be busy. Dinah told RJ that although she wouldn't see him anymore, she'd miss him and would be thinking of him. Just then, Edmund got his call from Tammy. Dinah overheard and offered to go to the hospital too. Edmund refused her offer and left. Dinah decided Tammy could use a shoulder to cry on and went anyway.
Beth overheard Phillip talking to Harley and was shocked that he'd had her house demolished. She railed at him and wanted to know why he was doing what he was doing. Phillip told her that he was tired of being weak; he had been before, and it had gotten him locked up and blackmailed into marriage. Beth asked Phillip if he realized what effect he was having on his children. She asked if he thought he was setting a good example for Lizzie.
While Beth was arguing with Phillip, Lizzie walked in, clearly agitated. Wanting to win his argument, Phillip suddenly asked Lizzie if she thought he was an ogre. After Lizzie defended her father, she tried to get her parents to listen to her, since she had no idea what they were arguing about. Beth told her they were talking about Phillip's vendetta against the Coopers. Lizzie couldn't understand why they'd want to bother with the Coopers; they were all a bunch of jerks.
Though Phillip was pleased that Lizzie understood him, Beth was incredulous and tried to tell Lizzie that it was wrong to judge people that way. Lizzie didn't really care. She said the Coopers hated them, so there was no reason they shouldn't hate the Coopers back. In the course of the argument, Lizzie learned that Phillip had had Harley's house torn down. Although she was shocked, she refused to go to the house with Beth; she wanted to stay with Phillip.
Alone with her father, Lizzie asked him why he had torn down the house. Phillip told her that he'd had a good reason, and that answer was fine with Lizzie. Phillip then asked what she'd wanted to talk to him about earlier. Lizzie started to get upset, claiming that she always acted out, and when the damage was done, it was too late. Upset and resistant, Lizzie admitted that she had done something bad and stupid. It involved Tammy, and it was awful. She then proceeded to tell Phillip about seeing Tammy outside the bar, thinking she had been with Joey, and stepping on the accelerator.
Sandy was being rushed into Cedars. He was seriously hurt and could hardly breathe. He kept trying to tell Reva something. He told her there was something important she needed to know in case he didn't make it. However, his injuries were too severe, and he couldn't get it out. As he was being wheeled into the operating room, he tried to whisper something to Reva, but she couldn't make it out. Being led away, he asked for forgiveness.
At the hospital, Tammy was leaving a message for JB, to tell him about Sandy. Unbeknownst to her, Edmund was watching her from behind a wall. Edmund then saw her, and she admitted to him about being at the bar and the guilt she felt because that car had been headed for her. Later, Dinah arrived and was there when Rick told Reva that a portion of Sandy's liver had been damaged, and he'd need a partial transplant. When he suggested that they needed a compatible donor, Dinah volunteered. A skeptical Reva says she'd take anyone's help she could get, but she was sure a relative would be a better match, such as herself.
Sandy was asleep in his hospital room. JB was suddenly right there at his side.
